Hey all, I don't know if anybody saw this thread about some father supposedly outing his seriously predatory incel son. I can't find any mention of it here. It's as long as balls, but it's really hysterical to see all the virtuous SJW reddiots falling over each other to log their appropriately righteous outrage. Swear I don't know how the sudden bloodflow to engorge their cocks didn't blow more gaskets among them. If its old news, sorry. I tried. Still worth ridiculing a second time, though.

This is seriously the fakest story ever but Reddit really ate it up. It's either a decent troll or just someone fucking with Reddit with little effort.

Same shit on Imgur. They still think it's a tight, niche community, as opposed to the second most popular app on the marketplace or whatever. It's hilarious to see people, especially on Imgur, justify meeting a stranger in a forest to a halfway rape with "Is this how our community is!?". Both platforms are full of parents and normies who think themselves deeper than their emoji-spamming Twitch-tier counterpart, because they prefer longer text posts to copy-pasting whatever reactive Twitch emote befits. Trihard.

I went on r/fatlogic today looking at threads about clothing. As always, subtly bad posts abound, but with some commonalities.

Bad post format number one: Women who are at the low end of a healthy BMI talking about how normal sized they are, like the post I saw from a 5'5", 115 pound woman. That's a BMI of 19. You've always been really small by American standards! It's not that weird it's hard for you to find clothes that fit. Or even worse, women who are 5'0" or less complaining about how they can't find clothes, even though that's really short.

Bad post format number two: People who say every article of clothing in American adult sizes is 'swimming on them'. I refuse to believe this is true unless one: they live in an extremely high obesity area, like the Mississippi Delta, which I'm skeptical of due to reddit's general demographics, two: they only shop at Walmart, or three: they're borderline underweight and/or really short, as above. Seriously, I don't know where these people are shopping. I have a BMI of about 20, and I just bought a dress that's a little tight in a small and the store had a smaller size. I've seen guys on there saying they can't find pants with a 32 inch waist. I own men's pants with a 26 inch waist, and I've been to at least two stores that carry that.

Yup. That's why I'm currently "swimming" in sweaters in a size large from places like AE and H&M (:powerlevel: I'm about 30 to 40 pounds overweight and 5'10"; I should not be able to try on a size medium and truly fit into it or somehow even find it loose, but right now, I can). It's definitely a trend.

But people on Reddit say weird shit all the time, so Crunchy's point is taken as well. I've seen women on there claim that it's impossible to find size 10 shoes, which is asinine and completely untrue.

Yeah when ever someone mentioned being tall or whatever people have to fall over themselves to be the most tall.

"I'm so tall all pants look like shorts on me."

"Yeah well I'm so tall my heart is 5 times the size of a normal sized person's heart and I'm dying."

It's a weird thing to brag about, people do it too with being short. Your size is second dumbest thing to brag about only to how cheap your wedding was and these two topics pop up all over the internet.

But people getting fatter means it'll be easier to find a women's size 10, since fat makes your feet expand. An 11, a 12, sure, it's Nordstrom Rack time, but a size 10 is pretty ordinary.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I just need some help understanding why I have a pathological need to poke around reddit a bit, where I invariably run across a pap smear like this, commenting on his parents total lack of savings:

"It’s sucks that they in the situation because they spent their money on providing for their children.

But my dad is also a staunch Republican and Trump supporter who is an absolute idiot about politics. So I find it hard to find empathy for him since he has none for others."

But then, the problem is that I can't keep myself from responding. Now, I know he'll never listen to me, and I won't change his position (certainly not with what I wrote) so why do I do this? It is the very definition of insanity. It's not even ego-stroking virtue signalling, since I cheerfully abandoned the moral high ground for a nice below-the-belt cheap shot.

I have a degree in psychology. I've worked in the field and remain well read, but this just defies rationality. Why do I really give a shit that this guy's a complete and utter douche? His parents are the ones who wasted their money and time on him, not me. So riddle me this. Why do I give two shits? Why can't I just let all the rats go down on that sinking ship?

Oh, well. Merry Christmas, whoever does.
