Reddit is currently full of post about right-wingers disappearing after Ukraine's attacks on Yandex. Is there an actual evidence for it? All I see circlejerk about it, not any example of it. Also surely Kiwifarms is also just KGB project, so did it had suspiciously less users this week?
I wonder what would happen if some data centers in China or the middle east would get hit. Would Reddit go silent?

They have short memories. In 2014 when the conflict was escalating there was a small moral panic in Europe at least because a bunch of litteral neo—nazis went to Ukraine to defend their ethnostate and they were killing the hecking wholsome Russian minority! But apparently Putins de-nazification is now something only nazis support, anf Putin is trying to create more nazis.

The constant fedposting and bloodlust against people they disagree is definitely being encouraged by foreign actors and their bots. But thats just a matter of amplifying their pre existing groupthink and mental illnesses.
Some of that might not even be all that intentional as I think a previous post pointed out that people can sell Reddit accounts with high karma. So it might just be third worlders trying to make a buck.

She travels into Vienna, THE center of coffeehouses and a dizzying variation of artisanal coffees from the ultra-traditional ones to the most avant-garde technological brewing methods
Starts missing Austrialian coffee.

What in the goddamn hell.

This is it, really. They are aggressive and insular losers in an echo chamber driving up all their misconceptions and stupidity on purpose. THEY are the bots and somewhere deep they know it and it rankles them immensely.

Also, of all the organizations on Earth, I'd trust the KGB to be the one to know about the possibility of renting server farms, buying or making botnets, paying social media astroturfing companies, having proxies, distributed nodes etc. under a variety of false flags and front compaies and not having to use Yandex servers openly hosted in Russia on the clearnet. This narrative is so fucking dumb, even for reddit.

Have misunderstood at a basic, fundamental level what even happened
This might be a stupid question but is there a term or fallacy or something for when Redditors just blatantly lie about something but it sounds true to the average user so everybody just keeps saying it? Other than "lying", I mean.

Specifically user "NukinDuke's" comment of "Huh, that explains the drop in activity in the conservative and circlejerk sub"

This is blatantly false. It however lines up with the belief that anybody that disagrees with the Omnicause must be a bot. So it gets repeated as truth.

They also almost always have this fake casual attitude or mild detachment with the "huhs" and "it's almost likes"

Leftism. It's called leftism.

People are simply not equipped to understand how easily leftists just lie. Jersh talked about it years ago with his court troubles, that the courts are completely unprepared for someone to walk in and say something that has no connection to truth whatsoever, because they're designed to deal with conflicting interpretations or claims about something that did actually happen, not a person asserting with full confidence something that absolutely didn't happen.

I think the biggest realization that this was the case for me was when I learned that Arthur Miller - author of The Crucible that we all had to read in school because it was a metaphor for McCarthyism being an insane witch hunt - was an actual literal communist guilty of every single thing of which he was accused.

All the Aussies I've met in Europe were mentally deficient in some form or another.
Had an Australian professor who was dumpster diving as a hobby before she started teaching English to Hungarians. The other one had rumors of domestic abuse going on about her (not sure if they were confirmed, though it would've been hilarious for the sheer stereotypical alignment) towards her wife.

I for one am not surprised the poster thinks coffee in Vienna is shit, their entire damn country is upside down.

McCarthy only did two things wrong: he stopped, and he didn’t go far enough.

Lmfao good find. These comments are hysterical.

This is by far the funniest chain of comments in that thread to me.

Everyone is just defiantly interjecting a thing that they need everyone else to hear them say in order to start a fight, and everyone is countersignalling their own things that they need everyone else to hear them say in order to start a fight.

It's all with the tone of "this is a normal thing and if you take offense to it you're wrong", which is probably the single purest distillation of the Redditor philosophy, trying to seem inoccuous while ravenously hunting for blood in the water. It's like brinksmanship for being offended.

If you’ve ever worked for a typical Fortune 500 company, you’ve probably been subjected to more than a few training videos. The more cynical may watch these and write them off, but oh no no not in r/managers. If you’ve never taken a look at the r/managers subreddit, you’re probably a normal person. This place exists for corporate middle management who guzzled the kool-aid and asked for more. They air their accomplishments, their grievances, and their martyr complex bleeds through in every other post. They want to provide VALUE to the organization. This is a small sample of the more silly posts I’ve seen.

Okay here we go, this is a thread I just found of exactly what I'm talking about

botttt.png

User EmergencyComment101 (hidden profile, of course) makes a dubious claim.

disprovenn.png

This claim is proven to be false with facts and logic (let's say, hypothetically)

The same user "debunks" this by presenting normal activity and then simply declaring it to still be true.

...And here is that same user still spreading the same misinfo several hours after being proven wrong

Anyways, now that we've had some actual reasonable advice, I wonder if the Cuban poster has considered... his local office store? At least they added some spanish at the end for inclusivity purposes.

I would love to see more from your cache of Reddit stupidity. It's great to see posts that aren't political.

This part was particularly infuriating; his country is on the verge of collapse and the redditor thinks he's moseying through the grocery store passing over perfectly good food because he doesn't like it.

I went and found the thread, a lot of people think "get any food you can" is worthwhile advice instead of just stating the obvious. And there's a surprising lack of arguing. Only a few people speak up to point out that the advice is useless.

r/conservative is already swarmed by people who aren't conservatives. You regularly see normal conservative view points downvoted while liberal nonsense has upvotes. Even if every person saying conservative things was a bot, this still wouldn't make sense. They should definitely keep up this mindset that everyone who disagrees with them isn't real though; it really worked out well for them when Kamala won two years ago.
