Gamingcirclejerk is one of the funniest subs on reddit because it began by making fun of annoying gamers and gamergate, but then it quickly began to embody everything wrong with modern leftism. Every other post is about trannies, they think straight white men are pure evil and should be derided at every oppurtunity, they hate video games and the people who play them, and they do this double think thing where Anita Sarkeesian didn't do anything but make some videos and also she was totally right and justified for trying to take down th indutrsy
They defend the ones that don't die immediately. Don't think I've ever heard of them defending turds like Concord or Highguard but I'm sure they're still simping for Marathon as its playercount continues to dwindle.
Which isn't even a culture war thing. Most players don't care about the politics of the devs if it doesn't interfere with gameplay and they don't shove in hamfisted political narratives in the writing.
Found this account of some 34 year old reddit commie named Jacob Anders who is planning to run for president in 2028 against Trump (looking on ballotpedia it is real) and he even has his own website. He spends all day commenting in the same 3 meme subs promoting his candidacy. He also has reddit posts larping in poltical debates against trump for example one where he has trump accusing him of dating his daughter Ivanka. Link / Archive

Looking through the interwebs he seems to have a hefty internet presence since 2011 he appartently created pokemon abriged or helped work on it, he is a author and claims to be a historian. Im not sure if this belongs here but i wanted to share this insanity.
