This has been my experience too down to the weird obscure discord server that doesn't know anything. It's crazy how much less functional the internet is becoming. And really sad. I have a lot of love for the internet and all of it's weirdness and potential.

Is it really so difficult for a company to come along and make a search engine as good as Google was 10 years ago? Even fifteen years ago? Is that decade+ old technology just not attainable now for some reason??

it is my favorite work of art. his character is so complex and his inability to not dodge the truth and cover it up with fancy language and insinuations is even better. the people who say it condones pedos are missing the point. Yeah, Humbert does for obvious reasons, but he’s smart enough to not flat out say it. he creates excuses and reasons and sidesteps the issue. As the work itself goes, Humbert is clearly miserable the entire time he’s writing the book (and in his memories, actually. so basically the entire time he isn’t assaulting lolita).

Tampon story has to be fake and most likely written by a tranny who bleeds from his anus because of all the foreign objects he shoves up there. Buying tampons is a mundane activity like buying paper plates or Gatorade. It's not awkward or embarrassing.
