Because he did use the word “attractive” in the past. This whole thing turned into a huge fight. He said that I fucked up big time, that I traumatized him by saying that and he will always think about this conversation when he will kiss or hold her and that I should have kept those worries to myself. He said that he is disappointed that I thought that he might want to do something to her which I never said! He also said that even if he’s going to think that she’s attractive that these are normal feelings and that everyone has them. He even told me that when he was a kid that he felt some type of way about his mother and that one day our daughter is going to feel the same way about him. He said that my father probably felt the same way about me or had some kind of thoughts about me. He said he would never ever do something with our daughter and he was really mad at me. I apologized and then he went to bed. I just don’t think that that’s right…. I can’t shake this feeling of disgust and anxiousness. I’m in bed with my daughter right now and all I want to do is hold her and never let go. I wish we never had this conversation.
