100k a year is almost 40k a year over the median average household income in the USA. If you think you cant live a solid middle class life on that, you either have 7 kids or are too stupid to breathe.

100k is enough to live comfortably without many problems buy it doesn't mean that money is just no longer somehting to think about. My point was that redditors were treatign the guy like he was Mister Moneybags when he's just a middle-upper middle class guy with a decent job who can probably afford a home of his own. That's not extraordinary (or, in a perfect world, it shouldn't be).

Six figures is always alot of money.

However, living in LA/New York, eating DoorDash for 5 square meals a day, and giving tens of thousands of dollars to streamers will quickly make that nothing.

The problem is some places have extraordinarily high rents and cost of living.

Edit: Also are we talking 100K a year..before or after Taxes, because that will make a big ole difference.

There’s nothing stopping them from living further away from desirable locations and working from home or commuting longer. They’re just not willing to sacrifice lifestyle for financial security.

Imagine unironically quoting Jeff Tiedbitch. Aside from being a whiny loser, he still hasn't noticed his kids look like his wife's ex-boyfriend.
Who is this asshole anyway? I only know he even exists because Reddit can’t stop licking his taint. He doesn’t seem capable of thought other than ‘trump dumdum’.

To be fair at least it shows that it's a sponsored ad here, unlike the many celeb AMAs timed oh so coincidentally with a movie/tv show/album/book releasing that features them! I recall this Alyssa Milano one that went quite awry

I have been wondering are those answers form famous people thread real or fakes. I always felt it odd seeing certain celebs go on a site like reddit?

It's an easy PR move, just take a selfie and say you're doing an AMA, profit!

In the past maybe some were genuine, but now probably 99% of AMAs are staged especially after the 2015 controversy

r/HermanCainaward is the creepiest, most ghoulish sub on the site. I've encountered more empathy and compassion towards the dying and bereaved on gore subs. A bunch of redditors crowing over the deaths of fellow human beings, many of whom were poor and uneducated. Disgusting behaviour, regardless of your opinon on the vaccines.

The fact that they broke sitewide guidelines by openly doxing and harassing people for months and were allowed to stay with just a smack on the wrist goes to show how absolutely fucked the administration on that site has become.

What fucking timeline are we in when someone saying they are underage online isn't a carte blanche to bully them into suicide.

fucks sake. We've made the web too safe. Back in my day you post your age online and you'd get molested.
