My money would be on some representative from the admins dropping by to have some words with them. Or maybe just removing posts themselves to the point the mods started to get scared and start making guesses at what criteria the admins were using to deem content unacceptable. That seems to be how reddit these days deals with mods and subreddits that won't toe the line on their own, but reddit either can't justify banning them for one reason or other, or reddit doesn't want to admit they're censoring a viewpoint.

Something I noticed today. I normally browse /r/all/rising on reddit because there tend to be a few good posts that never make it to the front page. Whenever I'm browsing /r/rising, it's always flooded with porn and OnlyFans promotional posts. In fact, those posts tend to make up a huge chunk of /r/rising content. It's annoying, but I always just ignore these posts and scroll past them.
Today, while doing my usual browsing, I realized that there isn't a single porn or OnlyFans post. Not one. There's no way this is organic. I'm wondering if this is some temporary glitch or if reddit is making this a permanent feature.
