Illegal entry is a criminal offence, even if you put in an asylum claim at worst you will be in detention at best you will still be on immigration bail reporting weekly unless they abscond. People who think they can just be scooped up off a boat like fucking hook a duck are beyond help, if you commit illegal entry (or unauthorised even if you are from the UK) you will get reamed for it.

Part 2 would be me sperging about how you need to ask the UK government for permission to even work in that cafe, you may be given permission if 12 months have lapsed since starting your asylum claim (which is currently backed up to fuck since 95% of claims are spurious), too many holes in this made up reddit story.

It's just fucking common sense if you aren't a 30 something year old brainless mumsnet poster.

I pity all those parents who have to raise their children in [CURRENT YEAR], not only because on what you said, but also because in general, both the child and the parent live in two completely different realities that it's uncanny, to the point that it feels they don't even live in the same household.

While a mom or dad sees their child's drawing of an anthropormorphic rabbit on their notebook, they're like "Oh that's cute, glad my son/daughter has a hobby." and in the child's perspective, he's getting groomed by some transotherkin on Discord with furry hypno ERP DMs going on over several months.

It's an extreme example, I know, but I've seen stuff like that happen multiple times. It's not enough to teach them that "stealing is bad, being mean to people is evil" but you also need to teach them how to interact with people online, internet security and that the world of the internet is different than the real world. And for a boomer/millenial parent to teach all of this? That has NO knowledge how the current internet works? Yeah, good luck on them for that one. (Specially if they go in one of those "don't trust your parents they don't know how you feel" communities.)

That's why I hate reddit. You can tell some of these people that get posted here were just kids/teens that didn't know anything better because their parents didn't expect to teach them that "99,9% of people aren't nazis for not having the same worldviews as you do" or "wearing stockings and a mini-skirt doesn't magically make you a cute anime girl, it makes you look like a weirdo". The same applies to other places on the internet, but reddit just has that hivemind mentality that I can't find in any other website.

Wow... I can't bring myself to find that sub funny. It's just plain sad. I suppose the majority of them are deeply depressed agoraphobic shut ins and this topic is a convenient excuse to themselves that they should just keep going the way they are. If that's how you prefer to live, that's fine... but acting like you're a better person and everybody else are a bunch of stupid inconsiderate morons because they don't isolate themselves 24/7 because of what's left of COVID. True, it's still around. It's at the lowest rate ever recorded right now, but it certainly still exists. Wear a mask if it makes you feel better, but the lengths these people are going is just straight harmful to themselves and anybody who still cares about them. And the echo chamber bubble they've got themselves there is just so, so sad.

Not sure what else I can say... I legitimately feel bad for some of them. It has to be horrible living life like that and the worst part is many of them could drastically improve their QoL by simply... getting over it. Oh well. Another sub-genre of munchies, I suppose. Huge overlap, nearly all of them say they have fibro, lyme, and all the other usual suspects.

Most Americans fall into three camps: the ones who take mainstream European criticisms of the US at face value and make their worship of (western) Europe into their entire identity, the ones who have their own criticisms of the US and view Europe as another continent with its own countries and issues, and the djingoist camp who looks at the US very uncritically.
The first camp worships anything in or from Europe as a holy land of "sophistication" (they view western Europeans as snobs and love them for it) and intellectualism; the second camp usually views europe in terms of regions with distinct cultures (and often has sympathies for eastern Europe); and the third camp views Europe as hostile, with a snobbish west/north and a "shithole" east.
The first camp is most likely to move to western Europe, although they usually get mad at being treated different for being American. The second camp is split between people who heavily admire eastern Europe and people who view the US as their home, either way they usually expect to be treated with suspicion and often feel they deserve it.
Null's cheese larp is a really solid example of the shit you'd hear from the first camp, although he's (usually) an example of the second camp. The third camp would never dream of leaving the US permanently, if they want to see a different culture they'll just go to a different region of the country.

Wait what did I miss? I listen to npr occasionally (limited radio options in my area and I do a lot of driving at times) and they are 100% pro palestine. Everything is always going on about how children are dying and israel are colonizers and blah blah blah. Did they commit the ultimate sin and give someone that's not an unapologetic hamas supporter some airtime recently or something? NYT I can kinda get considering they're literally jews.

Kids are dumb as shit, and if OP isn't lying (lol) then it was a pretty clear attempt to manipulate the kid into saying something stupid. They gave her something she wanted so she could have a more "normal" social life, so that when he said "no, absolutely not" he became the one taking that away from her. The same tactic is used in politics: do something wildly fiscally irresponsible so that when your opponent says "no, we can't do this" the people who liked the policy go nuts.

I’d probably feel worse for them, if every other post wasn’t soaked in this weird snobbery/superiority complex over the unwashed masses are too dumb to master gigs brain COVID hysteria and who don’t “follow the science”.

6 years divorced because wifes parents were meddling and wife sided with them against him.. 3v1 is a difficult situation to deal with already, now it's 3v1 plus he is separated? and now there's also this 'tom' cuck in the picture, so it's probably 4v1, with each of the four individually having more access and control than he does as the absent parent. dude's fucked, turning the kid against him is easy as pie for them, and it sounds like that's what they've been doing for many years already (cause that outburst from the kid sounded like there was way more behind it than one single iphone incident)

it sucks, but cutting his losses and stepping away is probably the best option he can take here.
should have never agreed to the divorce, cause that's when he gave up most of his influence and control, which is why he is now in an impossible situation.

I know exactly the type. It’s so cringe to see them come to Europe and wallow in how awful the US is.

They never quite realize that the people they talk to don’t find them neither “brave” nor “on their level”, since everyone who was raised right knows that you don’t shit in your own nest.

That’s common knowledge around the world. Even among snobby French or Dutch. You country may not be perfect, but you don’t shit all over it to total stranger for their approval.
