They literally made fun of this in one of the Nerd Crew episodes "He hates Star wars, is he Alt-Right!?!?!?" Imagine lacking that much self-awareness.

Jack keeps claiming that's not what the article says, which is technically true in that it's more about how the alt-right capitalized on dislike for The Last Jedi to feed itself. (You have to at least scan it to grasp how insane the article is; it features not one but multiple corkboard-style conspiracy charts to connect TLJ reviews to figures on the right of varying degree.) However, if he really doesn't see the guilt by association brush these people are trying to swing, then he's either more naive or more dishonest than I thought.

If "Hate" manifests itself by saying "this movie is shit" then I don't care, and neither should any adult.
Breaking windows? Refusing to admit into a hotel? Yes, there you have my attention. But if the worst you can point to is "dislikes a film" you're saying "Hate is no longer a problem."
Why don't these shitheads realize that?

You can say a lot stuff about the RLM crew but cruel ain't one of them.
Unless you're a stunt man

Jack always struck me as being particularly soy, that article is trash since it looks at twitter, which is mostly leftly white women in their twenties while youtube captures a broad cross section of the US population, but only what happens in their hugbox that s twitter matters.

He can't be unaware that the Wokerati have been trying to pigeonhole RLM as reactionary trogs for years, can he? It's a miracle the Plinkett reviews aren't namechecked in this stupid article.

Just want to say Tim is a real treasure. His "Duncan Hines" quip is the first time I remember really laughing out loud at RLM instead of just kind of chuckling in a long time. He's a real breath of fresh air for me for some reason.

I re-delved into the Pre Rec library during the winter, and it's pretty apparent how soy-infused Jack is. That's not to say that his contributions in some of the Half in the Bags aren't enjoyable, or anything, but Jack is an intellectual coward. There are countless times in Pre Rec where Jack would say something stupid, and Rich would smack him down. Then, he would immediately backpedal on whatever hot take he had and use the same language about being not fully informed.

As for Josh, I just enjoy how he doesn't seem to get the joke on Half in the Bag and just argue his point, anyway. He definitely does his homework on Re:View, though, which I do appreciate. Despite him coming off a bit nervy in those videos, at least you know Josh will have something interesting to say.

Reminder that the prequel hate, which RLM heavily contributed towards, nearly drove the black actor who played Jar Jar Binks to suicide. Guess I'll have to consider Jack a Grand Wizard now. Sorry, I don't make the rules!

You either agree with me on all issues or you're an ethno-nationalists.

He certainly sounds like MovieBob. Whenever I try to read a sentence of theirs on Twitter, I feel I'm gingerly trying to step around a floor filled with landmines and old people fucking. I have to carefully construct the words together to get meaning from them, but at the same time I know that whatever I'm going to eventually read will wind up making me cringe and will piss me the hell off.

Who would have guessed that the waste of his father's ejaculate, who did a crossover with granny Lupa, would prove to have a room temp iq and shit takes?
