you're funny if you think soylementals actually have any principals, they're just assholes who pretend to be righteous

I'm still surprised that RLM hasn't edited the "Peep this my nigs" line in one of the Star Trke plinketts, as well as them not getting cancelled because of it.

Guess nobody watches those Plinketts huh?

I dunno, personally I think "The 'urban market' stole my tv!" line is much worse, and that one (and the whole argument about how black people don't like Star Wars) is in a substantially more popular video.

Not to mention the whole keeping women in his basement thing.

The Plinkett reviews do seem to have somewhat faded into obscurity, but to be fair, most of them were a decade or decade plus ago.

The "black people don't really like Star Wars much" comment was a little odd considering it's had a black character since the second movie.

Just because it has a black character doesn't mean that black people like the films though. I can honestly say that when I did go to see Star Wars films in the theater I don't recall seeing a lot of black people tbqh, but that could have changed since TFA since that was the last one I cared enough to go to the theater to see. (or, more likely, I just didn't care enough to notice)

Are any movies really made for black people anymore? I remember there being a lot back in the 2000's. Now everythings made for leftists and chinese people. I guess there was the NWA movie but I think that's because white people like them too. Then again I don't watch movies any modern movies/tv because it's made for leftists and chinese people.

Not in the studio system I think. Not an expert by any means but I've always been under the belief that black film is more of an independent thing that is then bought by the studios for distribution.

I'm actually shocked to think of anyone soy infused liking RLM, not because they're explicitly political, but it just seems like something the soy infused wouldn't like, it's too funny and doesn't walk on eggshells too much with the jokes and just by virtue of the fact that they don't get real political is the shame as simply being right wing in the eyes of the soy.

Oh and they didn't like The Last Jedi.

They complain about low budget movies from the 80's having too many white guys. Sounds like something a soy would say themselves.

Aren't those plinkett videos unlisted? Star Trek the Star Trek should be the only one that's not unlisted last I saw, but at least they didn't private them

I always am able to find them but I watch them in playlists so maybe that is why?

I still believe that Mike says "faggot" somewhat regularly in his spare time.
This is a bad read, I'd sooner believe mike is bi than that he says faggot. His dumb girlfriend however called Jack a homo for not watching Breaking Bad once and there was dead silence.

He was right, it doesn't massively appeal to black people even though obviously there would be black fans. It was in a portion of the video where he was talking about Lucas wanting to maximize profits and hiring Sam Jackson who was not very fit for the role. Only now in fake outrage heaven can this be objectionable.
Yeah, I have a playlist as well but they're shown as unlisted, so they kinda tried to hide them but not enough to piss off anyone
They're not unlisted.

They're not unlisted.
Can you take screenshots? I'm also referring to the OLD old star trek videos such as

But the 2009 review one is still there

Well Gilchrist did say Mike was great but a bit of a casual bigot. I'm not surprised in that case that the RLM guys keep fans at arms length and don't do collabs with other youtubers, they are very canny at keeping drama at bay.

Gilchrist only knew them years ago and people change, and he's a bitter sperg with lots of stories about Jay that push believability so I don't know if he can really be relied on.

I'm checking on their channel right now all of them seem to be under their own "Plinketts other reviews" playlist.

If they're under a playlist they'll show up regardless since youtube counts that as having the link, once you click on the video itself you will see the little chain next to the date or title depending on whether you're on mobile or not as my screenshot shows

Why youtube doesn't just show if they're unlisted on the preview is beyond me, but doing it that way is clever as normies won't find them in a normal search, but if you know and you have access to that playlist then you can enjoy the old plinkett

I don't know about you, but if this line doesn't kill you with laughter every time, then you have no soul:
But yeah, staying out of politics and culture wars and e-drama in general has definitely been one of RLM"s smartest decisions. There were a few times where they've come close to playing their hand (Jack & Jill and Captain Marvel come to mind) but they were so meager outside of "the film industry is scummy" and "corporate slop isn't wokeness" that it hardly meant anything (and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who disagrees).

If I had to wager on their political views
-Mike seems like a casual shitlord even if he isn't necessarily right-wing. We do know he was at one point based on old forum posts from the mid-00's, but that's been a long time since then.
-Rich Evans is probably a normie moderate Democrat but mostly apolitical.
-Jay probably has left-wing views but knows to keep it a secret and is turned off by perfomative wokeness.
-Jack and Josh we know are soycucks.
