From what I remember of Pre-Rec streams, and I just watched them doing computer work in the morning on youtube, so they were always two weeks behind, was that:

-the Zelda/XCom/Friday the 13th/Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Mario ones were good for idle chitchat
-anytime Rich or Jack solo played a game you can skip because he doesn't look at the chat
-and Jay showed up in quite a few to talk and you'd get more in depth movie talk or just 90's nostalgia talk. A quick check of their videos has Jay doing some Zelda and Friday 13th ones.

Sometimes it seemed like they would read superchats and just half ass the answers or just not understand the question, and Rich's fiance would get annoying when she popped up in later episodes, as she really came across like the woman who has to control the conversation.
lmao rich evans has a fiance, incels have zero excuse.

Pre Rec WAS ass as a review show. I'm a total boomer when it comes to games and even I thought their reviews were a bit much.

The streams were okay though which is why they ended up focusing on it till Rich stopped caring.

IIRC Gillian moved (edit: to LA not back to Texas) And they never said anything except Jessie chose to not be on camera. Its speculated it had to do with a creepy subreddit that may or may not have had pics of her feet.

I've heard conflicting rumors about that. Supposedly the subreddit posted pics of some random woman's feet claiming they were Jessie's, and then when someone reported it the people who organized it were all "Its just a prank bro!" and apparently the issue was resolved over email(?), or something.

I've always found it more realistic that maybe Mike and Jessie just ended up breaking up over usual relationship stuff and neither of them wanted to make a big deal out of it. It would fit with their personalities to just kind of keep that on the down-low, and its not like every relationship under the sun is gonna work out. We still get the occasional reference to Rich and Jack's relationships but haven't heard anything about Jessie in like four years.

Jack looks simultaneously 100 percent better yet more like a skeleton than he ever has.

E: Jay is a lich, he looks better every episode while making everyone else look worse.

TL;DR:
Jay used to be a huge incel and Mike has cucked him numerous times. One time Jay fell in love with one of their actresses and went to a frat party with her. She got gangbanged in a side room while he threw up in the bathroom screaming "IM DYING LAUREN." This was all leaked by some faggot they worked with on that gorilla movie.
is it bad that I'm just imagining this as a RLM skit and it then fades to Jay using dark magic to absorb Mike's youth and optimism.

IIRC she was occasionally heard talking/laughing off camera for a while after she stopped showing up on screen. I don't think it was a break up, but they could have broken up by now for sure.

No one: "..."

Absolutely no one at fucking all: "...."

The edgy bootleg "grunge" kid in every 90's sitcom who the family adopts in a later season because his parents fight, that is clearly just to save falling ratings by getting the show mentioned in teen heartthrob rags:
