I think RLM has concentrated too much on TNG. I want a challenge for them: their top 10 favorite Voyager episodes.

Come on, do it.
In no particular order, and because I can't be arsed to look up the names;
The Year of Hell, That one with the Ferengi from TNG, Any Doctor episode, Captain Proton Stuff, Any Seven episode except the one where she's dating Holokotay, Tuvok episodes

I mean Voyager definitely had a lot of so so episodes but it still managed at least 10+ good episodes!

She wasn't already?
Not to that level. Was she close? Sure, but Admiral Clancy (had to Google her name) was the cheap knock-off created to have someone shock the audience by cussing out a famous character.

Imagine a timeline where the writing for Star Trek Picard was actually good and they managed to have Janeway used as a method of delivering valid criticism towards Picard without saying naughty words for clickbait. The quality of the story we got is too mediocre to waste such an interaction on.

I don't have to imagine, SFDebris already had a sketch of it.

SF Debris, not Red Letter Media, but...

Oh yeah, he brought the bit back in the above link.

Y'all should be happy Janeway wasn't used in Picard. As much as she annoyed me, no character deserves to become Thundercunt.

Even without changing the dialogue in that scene, imagine that with Janeway. It would have not only been hilarious, it would also have been perfectly in character too. Janeway is always dressing people down in the show. Her speeches are always about how someone has completely fucked up (in her eyes) and she often comes off as mean and vindictive. She's absolutely perfect for that scene, and if anyone could really say "sheer fucking hubris" to Picard it would be Janeway, hands down. Instead they got some old lady who looks like somebody's senile grandma to deliver the line, and it just comes off as stupid.

Janeway post.
I suppose, it's been several years (better part of a decade) since I last watched Voyager.

Janeway is my least favorite Captain, so I am not trying to defend the character. Maybe I am just tired of seeing old Star Trek characters getting twisted around all for the sake of pushing the current woke political narrative (this applies to Star Wars as well). Perhaps I am just glad that the writers of this show only managed to permanently ruin one captain (for now).

I watched Samurai Cop in it’s entirety recently and then I rewatched RLM’s interview with its star, Matt Hannon.

It freaks me out how much younger circa 2014 Mike and Jay look and what really freaked me out is when they played a clip from their 2011 Half in The Bag review of Samurai Cop and how even younger they looked in 2011.

Samurai Cop is worth watching in full by the way.

Yeah but that would be the beauty of using Janeway for that scene, it really wouldn't tiwst her than much.

My favorite was when Kes got a sex change and joined the Gamma Quadrant's SPACENAMBLA. Very progressive for the time.

You didn't even mention how Samurai Cop didn't age in 20 years lmfao.

Not to break up the Trek chat but I got bored enough to try to dig up new info on Jessi. Checkpeople.com lists Mike's current address (yikes) and lists Jessi as someone he may be related to. If you click on her, her address is listed as a PO Box #577. RLM's PO box is at the same post office but is #400. That's mildly strange. If you broke up with someone would you really want to have a PO box in the same building as your ex? Also in all my years of internet sleuthing I've never seen someone on one of these records sites as having a PO box listed instead of a home address, past or present. It's odd for an individual to have one unless they're trying to hide their address or constantly having mail stolen. Make of it what you will.
