The titty eyes/Spider Man story is pleasingly surreal, I could see that in the hands of a talented filmmaker being something decent, the other two segments are nonsense though.

That was a great episode though, I like how the wacky Half In The Bag plotline is something actually happening.

It showed up in a Ken Russell film, Gothic. Even then it was drawn from the recollections of either Byron or Shelley, one of whom had a laudanum induced hallucination where Mary Shelley appeared to have eyes for nipples. Gotta admit I was kinda bummed Jay didn't recognize the source; I'd have pegged him as a big Ken Russell fan.

I'm a Ken Russel fan and I even I forgot that was an homage to Gothic.

I wonder if that hallucination stems from the fact that with a nude woman, her nipples and belly button vaguely resemble a face.

Finally got around to watching this today. Holy shit, this is one of the best Half in the Bag episodes they've done. I absolutely love it when they discuss bad movies (which is why I've seen each episode of Best of the Worst a minimum of 4 times). Not just generic studio schlock, like truly bad movies. I really wish they would do reviews like this of recent terribad movies more often.

I think my favorite described segment was the titty eyes/spiderman story. I couldn't stop laughing when Mike and Jay explained the setup (a woman with eyes for nipples crying out of her nipple-eye and the tears somehow landing on a CGI spider on the other side of the room who is then transformed into a humanoid abomination).

Oh, now it all makes sense.

I would give them real money for a Cats review.

That would be awesome but I doubt they'll do it, they can be pretty obstinate sometimes and because Cats already got so much attention I'm sure that makes them not interested.

They're only really interested in talking about bad movies that not everyone else is talking about it seems, I hadn't heard of Verotika until their review for example.

Colin from Canada talked about it quite a bit on Twitter, even chronicling several trips to see it in the theatre. He's fascinated by its terribleness and I'm sure he has a lot of insights into how the CGI is so fucked up and the insane creative decisions behind it. So maybe we'll get a Re:View in a few months, if anyone else in the crew is interested. (My bet is on Jay, with his fondness for existential horror.)

It's possible but I wouldn't hold my breath, they're the kinda guys to purposely not do what everyone wants/expects them to do for whatever reason.

Their Gremlins one is my favorite because it was right after the '16 election and they have the right amount of friendly chitchat and movie content and there's a sense they were also lol'ing at Clamp getting elected. Their Masters of the Universe, Batman & Robin, and Jingle All the Way are also good because the movies have these lulls in them or are just so stupid they veer into good conversation.

I mean they're all good, but I find myself listening to those above just when killing time playing a game or something.
