No additional comment. I just want to preserve this moment.

There's so much pain in that face that it even hurts me. Why do we suffer Mike? Why do the bad men have to burn our childhood forest to the ground?

You really can only assume malicious vandalism by the current generation of writers in Hollywood happily destroying all the storylines from the past 40 years of pop culture.

All of these issues could be avoided by the simple fix of shifting the timelines.

Star Wars? Shift it 1,000 years into the future. Luke Skywalker has became some legandary avatar and things have gone to shit since. Rey needs to step in and make things right with girl power.

Star Trek? Shift the timeline 300 years into the future. The Aftermath of the Dominion War and the Borg incursions led to chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. The Federation has been dealing with a secession crisis (BREXIT) and a brutal war between the Romulans and the Klingons (REFUGEES).

Both scenarios allow the writers to do what they want to push agendas without destroying prior storylines. Yet for some reason they want to put things adjacent, either before or after, in the timelines and fuck with everything. It can only be concluded they are doing it on purpose.

Destroy the past to control the future.

Seeing this eyeball gore is so fucking depressing :(

(not for behind the scenes reasons)

Pretty sure Mike hit the nail on the head. The writers wanted to depict their revenge fantasy for the wrong thinker, and in so doing completely ignored the storyline from Voyager.

Has it been pointed out how they are now ruining Star Trek Voyager too, along with TNG? Because that is what they are doing. So glad that 7 of 9 discovered her humanity at last as a ruthless killer. Just WTF. Ya Boi Zack commented that SJW's don't know how to human, and he is really right. The slightly robotic and conflicted 7 of 9 from Voyager was way more human then whatever the fuck showed up in Picard. Ending the hopeful "borg children" story arc with a gratuitous torture scene as a way to get back at the original actor is simple icing on the cake.

I knew from the intro that this was going to be one hell of a video, and I was not disappointed. Rich has absolutely no idea what Mike is talking about half the time because Mike is so broken that his mind is meandering to a dozen different topics at once. Mike keeps asking why these things are happening in Star Trek, and Rich has to keep yelling at him that the hack frauds in charge don't know anything about Star Trek. They devolve into saying random words at each other. This was the funniest RLM video in a long while, but I fear for their sanity.

To think, they're only halfway through the season. And it's already greenlit for a second. I shudder to think what more of this show will do to them.

Also let's not forget the third season of STD that is taking place far into the future where the Federation doesn't exist anymore, so that pretty much destroy any chance of Star Trek Picard to be good.
I hope Mike will do a re:View series for STD like he does with Picard.
