"What, if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more; and there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and sigh and everything unutterably small or great in your life will have to return to you, all in the same succession and sequence—even this spider and this moonlight between the trees, and even this moment and I myself. The eternal hourglass of existence is turned upside down again and again, and you with it, speck of dust!'

Nietzsche.

It's not such a bad life!

As long as I don't remember, I guess it doesn't matter. BTW- I dislike Nietzsche. There are plenty things in life that don't make you stronger in any way: body, mind, or spirit...

politics is one, lel...

That line is from the same work where he rants against sick people and advocates euthanasia.
He also wrote it while he was quite ill himself.
Don't take it at face value.
ok. gotcha. Only listen to to a philosophers work after generations of professors have verified and confirmed their 'correct' writings.

I was interested when that 2 hour Ghost Adventures episode was and it appears to be Halloween night. So this was filmed a couple weeks before Part 1. Seems like they run about 2 weeks between filming and release on average. I wonder why they'd film a movie catchup omitting 2 whole months of the year, which isn't the first time they've done that. My guess is they expect to be busy with Star Wars stuff in December. We know there's a Mack BotW coming, which may or may not be the Christmas episode. Wonder what else they might have in the can.

Lotta people are sick of the marvel shit.
What's the point of caring when the main actor is in contract for five fucking movies? There's so many things now that fuck with these movies.

Hard to have stakes when the character is literally not allowed to die.

Marvel movies are sterile as fuck. How do you set anything in the past and not have anyone smoke? That's just an example.

And finally, they made the same mistake comics did and now there's so much shit you have to watch just to keep up. I'm good fam

It's only going to get worse. Disney has apparently said that you'll need to watch the Marvel shows on Disney+ to fully grasp what's going on in the theatrical releases. This didn't inspire me to subscribe to Disney+, but it did inspire me to bail on the movies from here on out.

I only got the Disney trial to watch the best movie Disney ever made:

Johnny Tsunami

Was anyone rather bummed by their roubdup? Mike only mentioned one movie he liked - Hole in the Ground. Meanwhile Jay was positive about multiple films. I know we make jokes about Mike's depression but this was really off. I'm getting big creator burnout vibes from Mike. No shame there, but it's a feeling I'm getting.
