As someone with an extremely low tolerance for Pre:Rec streams, the Fri-Jay the 13th episodes are by far the best they ever got.Rich liked the Friday the 13th game. They streamed that quite often.

They never worked out a cohesive feel for it either - admittedly I stopped watching after a while so it may have changed, but I recall it bouncing between nerd-baiting, pretending not to care, wooden attempts at appearing involved that muddied when they actually were into something.
Im not sure they always wanted a game show with Rich. they tried more than once.PreRec seems like it was originally started as a makework project for Jessi. She bailed a year in and Jack took over producing duties, but you could tell he never really had a plan for it or any interest in expanding it. Still, 50k followers on Twitch and 100k subs on Youtube is nothing to sneeze at. They had to have been pulling decent scratch from Twitch subs alone. Weird to walk away from such easy money.

the reviews they did were okay. the streams were boring but had some hidden trasure
Good God, remember the original Metroid stream when Jack was drunk? Worst episode, but as other stated, sometimes they made somewhat good content. He obviously hated modern video games to the point where I wondered why they even bothered and sure enough, they called it quits.
I've never minded Jack as well.
Not surprising, he obviously hated interacting with chat and constantly got baited.Seems like discontinuing Pre Recorded was Rich's idea and Jack didn't want to.
A clip of Pre Recorded was posted to the Red Letter Media subreddit a day ago.
Someone in the comments lamented that they don't make the show anymore and tagged Jack to ask him and Rich to start making streams again.
Jack replied that it isn't his call and that maybe he'll do streams by himself in the future.
Jack's username on reddit is his surname, "Harlack":

There was also a post a couple of months ago where someone asked Jack to start making Pre Recorded again and he said that "It's not just up to me, so it's probably not gonna happen." :

Who wants to watch endless bad playthroughs of Firewatch?I don't see why Jack couldn't start his own streams. If he isn't part of RLM, then why not start his own gaming channel or something?
I put on their movie commentaries whenever I'm doing chores and they've never let me down once.Tbf if the mike and jay live streamed the entirety of them watching a shitty movie it’d also be boring. RLM videos excel in editing and pacing, despite many being an hour long. The Plinket Star Wars reviews do a great job of mixing in comedic skits to keep your brain from being turned to mush like you’re watching the actual movies.

Rem Lezar broke Vinny’s brain
They had some pretty weird hangups about which games they would and wouldn't play. Jack refused to watch cutscenes. Rich would refuse to play a game unless he could watch the cutscenes. Jack gravitated towards shitty indie games. Rich would only play XCom and FtL. Rich couldn't talk if he was playing. Jack would never shut up. Neither were any good at video games, which meant you were often subjected to Dean Takahashi level gameplay on their streams.
The best episodes were the ones that had a third person around because then you'd have a more RLM-like dynamic. Jessi, Jay and the Canadians all added something that was missing when it was just Jack and Rich. The only guest I hated was Rich's fiancee because she brought out Rich's smugness and was super obnoxious.
When was Jessi on the livestreams?
