Something else I'd like to point out about that comic is that, even when I'm signed out, all I get in terms of recommended videos when watching a Half in the Bag episode are either more Half in the Bag or Best of the Worst videos, or other film-related video essays. Yet for people who bitch about RLM's politics, they always claim they get recommended MRA and conspiracy stuff.

Maybe political spergery being constantly recommended to you has more to do with the OTHER channels you subscribe to, as opposed to RLM being crypto-fascists.
Maybe its just me but when I watch RLM videos it tends to recommend other RLM videos. Something tells me they are watching stuff other RLM reviews.

This is like when Steven Crowder claimed youtube was pushing gay and cross dressing propaganda in his recommended feed and people pointed out your recommendations are based on your history.

Saw this on tweeter. Decided I had to share with you chaps because I should not have to bear this cringe alone....

>*said while skipping a particularly bad episode in our Aqua Teen Hunger Force marathon because it's one long rape joke

This makes me wonder, if Handbanana is too offensive for them, what episodes did they watch?

I get Channel Awesome, The Unusual Suspect and more RLM stuff.

Sometimes HatFilms' vlogs get mixed in.

Somehow these people get MRA and conspiracy theory videos. Probably because they watch MRA and conspiracy theory videos so they can enrage over it.

A lot of people are triggered by RLM. Twitter hates them because they're sexist dudebros. 4chan hates them because they're Disney shills.

I find it really entertaining how /tv/ in particular cannot get over Mike being so positive in their The Force Awakens HITB. Dipshits, Mike's exactly the kind of optimistic fanboy that movie was designed to appeal to. This is a guy who loves Star Wars enough to make 3 feature-length reviews deconstructing the prequels. He forced Rich to watch the entirety of STD and the short treks out of a naive hope the series would get better.

He's exactly like my old Star Wars-obsessed boss, but with the important distinction that Mike's correctly written off the sequel trilogy while my boss is still holding out hope that episode IX will fix everything.

I look forward to the follow up “man child destroys ten thousand toys that even bigger man children mailed to him” video

Don't forget how /tv/ adores Rogue One for all the reasons Mike didn't like it (i.e, it was a shitty EU novel in film form)
