I'm one of their donors on Patreon so I got this email today:

The review is coming, it's just going to be a couple of days.

I really want them to review Ferdinand now. Star Wars can wait the Plinkett

How hard is it to see a movie? lol. I went on Saturday at 11 am and there was no line at all.

It it Star Wars and opening weekend, I imagine it would be hard to get in on Friday/Saturday. Especially keep in mind that they do live in a city (even if it's Milwaukee) after all so it would be busier than bumfuck.

So they’re reviewing the audience as well as the movie?
Two for the price of one, folks!
A running joke in the HitB vids is Mike bitching about fat guys opening candy wrappers in his ear. I think he just deliberately seeks out neckbeards when choosing his seat.

well finally.
so overall, they seemed kinda perplexed by the movie. Not as bad nor as good as everyone made it out to be. Mostly a weird experience that doesn't leave much open for the last movie. I can see what they mean by that, it doesn't leave much exciting for the 9th movie to explore outside of the Kylo thread. Their view of the fandom was on point as well. I did disagree with their opinion of Yoda being too goofy in TLJ. Maybe his lightning strike was a trollish thing to do, but he was still very calm with Luke, guiding him to see the truth. Interestingly, it seems like Jay and Rich were more okay with the movie, Mike looked very defeated. Only perked up when they were laughing about the stupid scenes or when he could talk about his one true love Star Trek.

Also the gnome story made me worry about Mike. Dementia is rough, man.
