That's what I don't understand about their experiences with movie theaters. Every city has its "good" areas and "bad" areas. With what these guys are pulling in from YouTube and Patreon, I can't believe that they're living in the slums. Are they driving clear across town to the dollar theater in the hood just so that they can have something to be mad at?
It is Milwaukee.

Maybe there are no "good" areas.

They’re in the vanguard of gentrification and experiencing the cultural enrichment that brings them, or that’s my guess anyway.

There is only 1 movie theater in Milwaukee that's not nigger infested and that's The Oriental.
The reason being that they mainly show indie/arthouse stuff as well as the classics and cult movies.

'ey, it's out!

Edit: I don't know why, but the guys talking about This Is Spinal Tap is weird to me...
I must've watched American Movie (1999) years ago but I seriously thought it took place in Minnesota but I guess they get that a lot down there? Also holy fuck if I saw it way back in the 2010s I must've thought it took place around that time assuming that Minnesota was just that ass backwards and were decades behind not that it actually took place in the late 90s. JFC if Space Cop could be made how tf did Coven not get made?

Coven did get made, Mark Borchardt actually still makes VHS copies of it and promo t-shirts that he used to distribute to video shops around the area.

This one felt like kind of a dud. It was part Mike grumbling about how his hometown is frequently used as the butt of jokes, part Jay showing off movie filming locations, and all very unfocused. I'm not a huge fan of movie filming location content, but I do really like listening to these hack frauds talk about something that they're interested in (I've watched and enjoyed countless re:View episodes covering films I've never seen, after all), so I had high hopes that this would be a good one. As it turned out, it just sounded like cranky old men.

I am shocked to the core by your summary.

Ok, not THAT shocked.

Actually, I'm not shocked at all.
