Disgraced former Red Letter Media guest Max Landis outed as making death threats towards ICE

He's really fallen on hard times as you can see:

sheesh, how close is he to trooning out?

EDIT: Wait, he did troon out? When did that happen?
Aw, shit, I spoke too soon: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/max-landis.26611/post-23400979
This is amazing; proof of real-time sex-predation-to-autogynephile pipeline as we observe his public history. I can't think of another instance of this outside of lolcow-level fame, but I'm probably just ignoring something obvious. This is the sort of thing criminal profilers witness.

I don't like Max very much but I still feel relieved. Troonery is a fate worse than death.

Jack is a cautionary tale: being a "goofball" all the time is a losing proposition in life.

He is the embodiment of happy with your mouth open guy, and look where it got him: lonely desolation. Wife & kids gone. He will probably commit suicide within the next year.

Women, for all their faults, are wise enough to deploy the resting bitch face once in a while. This is a good thing. It centers and anchors the human soul to the real world. Women, for the most part, do not act like clowns, as Jack does. Be more like women.

The rotoscope brush in After Effects is super useful. This is my first experiment and it only took a few minutes. Imagine masking the subject frame by frame.

SPOILERS FOR PLURIBUS AND SOMA (VIDEO GAME) BELOW!

Pluribus was disappointing. The premise itself isn't strong enough to carry the show. Barely anything happens after the radical change in the first episode. The only other interesting one is the last one, mostly because there's finally a real second character interacting with the protagonist. Episode 7 is 100% filler: Carol breaks windows in an office building with golf balls, Manousos travels across Central America to get to her. That's it. The frozen body scare gets resolved immediately. Here's John Xina to explain to you how everything's still OK.

The last episode reminds me a little bit of the video game Soma. The player/audience knows something very obvious about the protagonist who only realizes that at the very end of the story. In Soma it's the fact the protagonist can only COPY his consciousness to another vessel, which isn't the same as MOVING it. In Pluribus, we know from the beginning that the "plurbs" are a collective consciousness and Carol is naive about it having any genuine feelings for her. Another thing I noticed was how she got over the death of her wife within only a week or two. All that after establishing how close they were in multiple scenes.

Someone could probably make a decent 120-150 minute cut of the whole season. I'm not going to watch season 2, fuck that. Here's my summary of season 1:

The player/audience knows something very obvious about the protagonist who only realizes that at the very end of the story.
He never actually gets it. You get to where you launch the satellite and he’s all “why am I still here under the ocean?” And the scientist chick then explicitly spells it out and he still doesn’t get it. To be fair he’s a copy of a guy who starts the game already with a degenerative brain issue.

I just now got around to watching the Half in the Bag annual recap, and I thought it was funny the way they kept cutting to Mike when Jay was using negative terms to describe Stranger Things that could also apply to him.

That and Simon is just not a smart or good person. Spend some time exploring his apartment and you'll see he's a pretty narcissistic soul with little real feelings for anyone but himself who never did anything with his opportunities.

Or..Just play the game. He treats Cathrine terribly through out. Even when he believes she another person he's still a massive dick to her and gives her feelings zero thought. It's no wonder his crush didn't like him back.

Sorry about the OT. I just love the game.

Was his wife's name Harley or something? The only thing I know about his private life is that he supposedly gave his kids silly names.

His ex-wife's name is Lisa, and her online persona is 'Harley Quinn' in reference to the Batman character.

When email was invented, Jack thought that a single household would share one email address (an astoundingly stupid assumption). So he chose 'harlack' as in, Harley Quinn plus Jack.

Now that Harley Quinn is out of his life and took the kids...it must be painful whenever he receives email from fans.
