There was even a video when they talked about Wisconsin serial killers and they showed how close their studio was to famous murder sites.
It looks like it's next door to an animal shelter or something like that. In an old BOTW they were standing outside and you could see lots of dogs behind the fence.

Patreon Update:

Upcoming Videos (September 2025)

Hi everyone! Part 2 of our Joe Dante retrospective should be coming out this weekend. And yes, we're aware that the lower frame title for Part 1 said "INTERspace" instead of INNERspace. It was a dumb autocorrect that unfortunately went unnoticed until it was too late. We know the title of the movie, we swear! We're also working on a Half in the Bag that will be similar to when we covered that movie The Other. We've seen another The Other. Let's break it down! Also thank you for all the support in response to our video about youtube's weird A.I. restriction nonsense. We just though it would be an interesting topic to discuss that probably nobody else would care about so the response has been a pleasant surprise.

The rumor I heard was a subreddit caused it.

For all I know, it was that weirdo who showed up at their warehouse one day wanting a tour that could have actually scared her off.

I don't know *what* it was, but it doesn't seem like a case of "I just got annoyed with Best of the Worth taking forever to film" or whatever. It stinks of *something* happening because it was so damn abrupt and Jack and Rich absolutely refused to talk about it on Pre Rec for the longest time, and when Jack finally did address it it was a gay version of "you don't deserve an explanation, stop asking"
I've always assumed she broke up with Mike. The "reddit was creepy" explanation just reeks too much of online fedora-tipping. If she was still hanging around the studio, we probably would have heard her/seen her at some point over the last decade.

She might be behind the camera so we never see her, but yeah I thought she and Mike broke up too, though from that wrestling still posted earlier, I think she was sitting next to him.

Creepy reddit guys makes sense though, there are a lot of autistic retards out there who think just because a girl likes something they do, it means they're destined to be together forever. It's why cosplay thots make so much money. "She's dressed like Velma? I like Velma! That means she'll be my waifu. Better give her a shit ton of money."

I can understand Jessi's decision to not appear on camera -- especially if she has a regular job and isn't trying to get famous.
  • RLM has 1.6M subscribers.
  • 1 in 5 Americans is mentally ill. And the ratio is probably even worse for RLM viewers.
  • Even if only 1% of those are nuts enough to do something, that's still thousands of potential dangerous lunatics.
It's too bad she left. She had a good laugh that fit in well with the pantheon of RLM unique laughs next to Jack Packard and all-time great Rich Evans.
On the other hand, it was a little awkward knowing that she and Mike were together. I like the fact that for the most part the RLM crew keep their personal lives to themselves. I don't need to know their personal business; I don't want to know their personal business. They're not my friends. They're just the hack frauds who make silly internet videos about bad movies.

If she was behind the camera we'd pick her up laughing. She had a laugh that was pretty easy to pick out and they can't edit that out when it's being picked up from other people's mics. Like you can clearly hear Jay laugh when he's behind the camera.

Admittedly they can probably stack the wheels with short videos that way Patton doesn't have to sit through 6 hours of garbage. I'm just shocked he's back because he genuinely seemed like he hated his time there.
He's a comedic actor. I think he was putting a lot of that on.
That Plinkett Video: Mike is so, so cynical that he decided to facetiously praise The Acolyte in the same way Prequel fans sincerely do. The meta aspect is him running a Prequel fanboy script but replacing "The Prequels" with "The Acolyte" he no doubt still dislikes The Acolyte but he's playing cynical sarcasm games for fun to show how retarded those people are. Was it funny enough to warrant a whole video.... eh. As many people said here, the Acolyte is completely irrelevant at this point.
The voicemails from George Lucas made that video.
I haven't watched their new Star Wars video but judging by the comments here it mostly just seems like a repeat of their Rogue One spergout where
Did you really need to post?
She doesn't have to go to the studio to still be with Mike. He doesn't *actually* live there, that's Rich.
I just received the mental image of Rich snuggled on the BotW couch with naked prop Stallone *sigh*

He was definitely putting on an act. I think he was fine in that episode and I'm getting a little tired of hearing about his wife's death every single time he's mentioned. It's Pavlovian response at this point. It's been 9 years, let it go.

I’m just sayin’, Patton: You should have killed her before she made all those peoples’ deaths about herself and her true crime fetish. Plus, look at it this way: Each new year that someone brings it up is another year you’ve gotten away with it; so more power to you. Hopefully you decided to act less like someone who got away with uxoricide and more like a comedian in your next Best of the Worst appearance - And continued luck with resisting the urge to repeat what you did with the new one who just so happens to look like Michelle. Go get ‘em!

If only. Their worst, non-Beardfat videos have at least one of them acting a little too much like Beardfat with sandbagging or walking back a problematic joke, making some performative disclaimer that something isn’t a joking matter, or recommending some dogshit streaming series consumed exclusively by Redditors. Believe it or not, such moments do manage to tell us too much about their personal lives and remind us of why so many cringe people use them for a friend simulator. It’s always obvious when a “silly Internet video” has been produced by someone who takes themselves more seriously than they’re willing to admit.

If you murdered your wife and got away with it you'd probably have a hard time not thinking about it every second of every day too, worrying you'll slip up and get caught.
