At least he got some decent pushback from Rich. Mike's thing about there not being a "yum yum" line falls flat when they showcase the awful dialogue that could match such a dumb line perfectly. And because he wasn't really thinking when he said it and Rich is pushing back enough, he just said fuck it and wanted to smash the plate.

I think that's the way to deal with Mike's ho-hum attitude.

While I get some ass chewing loudly with their mouth open in a quiet movie is irritating, but at the same time I can't help but think Mike and Jay might just be jaded towards movie theaters in general and are looking for something to complain about.

I think it's also because they're just getting old. Jay is the youngest at 44 with Mike and Rich 46 and 47 respectively. And middle age is usually when people start having more sensitivity to things like noise, in particular background noise due to the auditory cortex being overwhelmed. That's not to say everyone has those issues either at that age, but the probability does increase, especially if there is a genetic factor.

I'm still just baffled that they tried to make Space Hitler a good guy. I suspect Mike's thoughts are right, that the actress is super popular and people thought the character was fun, and then Kurtsman (the retard that he is) had a light-bulb moment.

Nothing else surprises me though. Raping Star Trek's corpse to try and make a wacky band of misfits save the universe just seems like the type of dogshit nutrek would devolve into after what they tried with picard's new crew and then the recent comedy crap.
