I don't see it mentioned anywhere else, so maybe he cries about it in a Second Wind video or on X. I'm not going to sift through any of that crap to find out.
He says it on his twitter post

I watched Fight Club like twenty years late and did not enjoy it at all.
i agree, fight club was very disappointing to watch after hearing so much good about it. in my edgy teenager days when i was 15 i might have loved it, but as an adult it was pretty meh.
Once you know that the author is a homosexual it becomes obvious what the whole Tyler Durden alter ego meaning is about. The movie is faggy enough but the book is basically sodomite erotic fiction. With a bunch of tranny characters as well. American Psycho was a similar story, about a closeted gay psychopath, but done in a much more comedic way and way over the top. The scenes of Patrick Bateman obsessing over business cards or restaurant reservations was more compelling than 'Project Mayhem'.
agreed. i hate people who chimp out about spoilers, but when it comes to mysteries or who done its, it is valid. i dont know if i would say it ruins the entire movie, but i watched quite a few agatha christie based movies and i think a spoiler would have made them less enjoyable. and yes, once you have seen those movies, they lose a bit of enjoyment on subsequent rematches unlike a non mystery movie such as empire strikes back.
Plot based writing ages like milk. Once you know the twist or ending there is almost nothing left.

I wasn't about to go on X and actually search his profile, so thank you for doing the extra work for me! At least he's accurate about going into business (by riding Croshaw's coattails) with a bunch of idiots. And when a guy says it was amicable, that means it was amicable for one party -- usually the ex-wife.
That's what I was thinking. If a divorce is amicable then why get a divorce at all? Especially if you have kids have have been married for as long as they have

I'm assuming that by "amicable" it means that chad showed up and she ran off to him.
...not that I blame her. Imagine marrying baldy over here.

A lot of people stick out a relationship that clearly isn't working until the child becomes an adult, and in the process of that they often enough morph into something more akin to coworkers. Sure, once they split, the kids will still have a bit to grapple with, but it's better not to dump that on them when they're young.

Of course, I have no idea how old his kids are, what their relationship was like, or anything of that nature. Jack seems like a fine guy - he's just not all that funny.

I assume it was totally the alcoholism since he specifically mentions that wasn't the cause. It's unusually specific for a personal issue that he doesn't want to go into and it's a severe enough problem to get a wife mad at him. Go too far into alcoholism and you become Rackets.

First video in a long time that didn't feel like an apology for defending Star Wars acolyte. I have a feeling the starving Africans meme either hit a nerve with Mike or Jay, worried about Mike defending the acolyte will hurt the channel in the long run. I personally find the starving African hilarious. It can be used against any journalist defending a Hollywood product. Maybe that’s the real reason Mike apologized to Star Wars theory?

I saw it for the first time when I was like 13 because someone gave me this.

But unlike Boondock Saints it does not hold up later in life. Partially because its not actually all that good of a movie. It has some good scenes, and some iconic moments, but when its viewed as a whole its less than the sum of those parts. I havent watched it in a long time but the last time I did (sometime in my twenties) I was just left disappointed in it.

When you watch Fight Club as an adult you think "ugh, this is such an edgy teenager movie" and when you watch Boondock Saints as an adult you think "fuck yeah this is an edgy teenager movie!"

Proof that women write better faggots than faggots do? Perhaps. I think part of what makes American Psycho work over Fight Club is Patrick Bateman not being the Mr. Charisma that Tyler Durden is. Bateman is neurotic, awkward, obsessive, and creepy. That makes him a great movie character but not someone you'd want to actually meet. Durden on the other hand is like a cool older brother type guy, you're supposed to like him and his cult of personality, which works from a teenager perspective but not from an adult perspective.

My mistake I was thinking of the director, Mary Harron.
-- not a mistake, 2 women co-wrote the screenplay, Mary Harron and Guinevere Turner

Are there any stories of Red Letter Media crew interacting with fans? I hear Rich Evan's has a reputation for being nice to fans he meets in the wild. I know James Rolfe, Jontron, Doug Walker and Mike Matei all have reputations for being nice to fans. Pat the NES punk and Linkara are infamous for being cunts to fans at cons and in the wild.

Why are you talking about fans when posting a picture of Rich and one of his many bastards? (we should all be so lucky to have sex god Rich Evans spawn us)

Can't find it now but Rich has a story about a fan recognizing him and wanting a photo and then getting locked out of his car on PreRec. If someone knows what stream that was please post it. Also, someone really needs to make a highlights channel and just archive all the questions on PreRec tbh with easy to find titles, though knowing RLM they'd probably take it down.

Patreon Update:

Hey everyone! We've got a hand full of stuff either shot and currently being edited or in prep to shoot soon. The next video to come out will be a Half in the Bag for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which will hopefully be done really soon. We originally discussed the idea of doing a re:View of the original Beetlejuice before the new one came out but we didn't have time because we were busy shooting another video that is ghost-related that will also be coming out soon-ish. Well, part 1 of that video will be out soon. Part 2 is shot and currently being editing and it's definitely something different for us and hopefully everyone will find it interesting. So that two-parter is coming along. And that also rolls us right into late-September and October spooky season type videos. What will also end up being probably a two-part series is Jack and Jay watching every Puppet Master movie. Legend has it that nobody even knows how many Puppet Master movies have actually been made and released because nobody in the history of humanity has ever watched all of them. But we're ready to change that! Happy Fall Season, motherfuckers!

Also RIP James Earl Jones!!
