It's funny because Mike already gave the obvious rebuttal in the video too, "maybe she just always knew she was bisexual and had girlfriends before her last boyfriend", Jay acknowledged that, and said that from a movie making perspective having her realize she's bi after breaking up with her shithead boyfriend would have made for a better arc. You'd figure that Mike would get more shit for his "woke Canadian alien" joke that he made rather than Jay genuinely just trying to say how the writing could be better too.
Just stumbled upon these guys recently. I don't watch many movies, or movie content on Youtube, so I guess that kept them out of my recommended.
I've really enjoyed watching Mike and Rich talk about Star Trek. I've never had an interest in Star Trek whatsoever, but watching them talk about The Next Generation so fondly and passionately, juxtaposed with how much they dread Discovery and the first two seasons of Picard, has been super entertaining.
EDIT: I also wanted to mention a specific video - the one where Mike and Jim talk about Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
In the very beginning of the video, Mike makes several "risque" jokes.
- A fan sent the guys a pack of Star Trek Federation beer, specifically one called "Captain's Holiday." Mike's beer overflows and he says "Looks like Captain had a good holiday!" - A joke about Picard cumming.
- Mike mentions an episode of TNG where Picard has a romantic fling with a younger woman named "Vash." Mike says "Or as Picard calls her.. GASH!"
- Then Mike explains that this lady is a treasure hunter, who's into archeological relics, and that's why she likes Picard's dick.
I mention it, because it was nice to see Mike cut loose like that, and that's something I haven't seen from him in any of the other videos I've watched. I also thought he and Jim were pretty good together.

If you like what they have to offer I'd suggest watching best of the worst in order, its a great play list to work through and you can see them master their craft.
There is also a lot of inside jokes that have snowballed over the years.

I recently watched the review of The Order: 1886 and holy fucking based. The bald guy and the fat guy were calling out Sony movie-games years before anyone else. It was so based I'm surprised Mauler hasn't started a war against them for insulting his holy father Sony.
