Back when Mike and Jay weighed the same before Mike got fatter and Jay became swole
Update.jpg
Meme needs an update.

One of my favs, since I can almost hear Mike groaning like Mr. Plinkett from the photo

Doing my annual watch-through of BOTW. Look how young they all were 11 years ago:

They were also unafraid to make even more off color jokes back then. Now they have to do it exceedingly sparingly, or at least now they're more strategic about it. Over the years (I don't want to be that guy), but they've really kind of matured with pushing a bit in what they can and can't get away with. Part of it has to do with Youtube's bullshit, and part of it is them just bumblefucking their way through their own growing pains.

I was going back through and watching some of their older eps too and just realized how much has changed, yet most of the core of what RLM is stayed the same. Just a bunch of dudes lounging around laughing at (and mocking) really bad movies and shit produced media in general.

Jack made a series of twitter posts calling out conservative YouTubers. He rightly got a lot of blowback, which forced the main RLM account to defend Jack while also distancing themselves from the controversy. If you add all things up, from Mike's clear dementia, Rich's extensive criminal record, and Jay letting his hair grow long obviously on the road to trooning out, it's no wonder that they've swayed so far left these past few years. And as more times passes, as their core right-wing leaning audience starts to leave, you will find them making off color crass jokes again, but this time it will be at the expense of "le evil rightoides!".

That's his best one yet because the pain of Mike feeling betrayed is balanced by the oooooh baby.

RED LETTER MEDIA AND ITS FUTURE
The inclusion of Macaulay Culkin in RLM and its consequences have been a disaster for the channel. They have greatly increased revulsion, destabilized episodes, subjected RLM to indignities, and have led to widespread psychological suffering.

They mention Noislund in the review and even try to pre-emptively set up the beats (Rich yodeling)

Just some dudes with really hot bods and huge muscles thanks to drinking milk.
You were right, just some dudes with hot sexy bodies forged with cheese pizza and cheesy nachos.

Been a long time aince I saw a best of the worst but this one was great. Mike managing to understand himself thanks to dificult people and Jay's obsession with hot sexy bodies were a couple of the highlights.
