call me skeptical. i hold zero hope and zero interest in anything with new trek. the thing is, even with what mike and rich talked about with episode 1 wasnt enough to get even a small rise in interest from me in the show.
im still dissapointed that they didnt fight that. it seems to me to be a very clear case of fair use and a case of a thin skinned narcisitic cunt who abuses copyright to stop negative reviews of her shitty movie.

that's true. still, i hate that she got away with it. not only because her taking down the video is just total horse manure but also because she has an entire catalogue of trash that they could review. i recall them hinting at doing more of her stuff in a video before diamond cobra was taken down. shame we wont ever get to see them view her other works.

i used to have the max landis ones downloaded but then i remembered how annoying he is and that i will never rewatch those so i deleted them to save space. it is such an injustice to the world that their firt ever breen video is one which features max landis.
Yeah he is not an enjoyable person to witness at all. Its an interesting little episode for its brief look into a somewhat controversial person. I say somewhat, because I had no clue who he was, I think he is mostly unknown to the larger world. And he tries way to hard to be likeable. Fuck, I havent seen it in years and just talking about it reminds me how awkward he is in that episode. He so wanted to be a part of their little crew.
For what it's worth, the best parts of that one are in many a compilation video.
i still dont know much about him other than he is yet another holywood type with some #metoo accusations against him. he was very annoying and as you pointed out tried so hard to be on of the cool kids and it just made him even more unlikable.
there are even good edits people have done such as removing him form the episode.
