Couldn't disagree with Mike harder on Ozark, I thought it ended perfectly well, and I'm kind of annoyed that he basically sold Jay on not watching it, because that ending is exactly the kind of shit that Jay would have been 'It was fucking brilliant!!'
I mean, he said he liked 95% of it, just not the cliche that it ended on. Still a decent enough recommendation.

I mean, it's not like getting 100K likes is the new 'is X replacing X' joke. Yeah, it must be because viewers are dying for RLM to review a film that they explicitly said they wouldn't review anyway.

Those sheeple. Not smart like what I is.
you're joking but that dumb fuck who wanted them to review The Northman was hoping for them to review The Batman too so haha fuck him

Except it doesn't end up on a cliche. It ends on an anti-cliche, if anything. It's like the anti-sopranos ending.

They get away with everything. Their family got back together. Against all fucking odds, they've managed to fool the FBI, they've managed to outplay the cartels, they've managed to avoid getting killed for redneck girl's chicago kill, they have settled their scores with everyone, all of their enemies in the ozarks are dead, their family is united and stronger than ever, the PI is gone and now the father too, everything is going just perfect...

and then the private investigator shows back up again up. With actual proof this time. A lesser show would have gone for the shock ending of them being fucked out of left field, arrested at the end, going 'We would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the middling private investigator!'

Instead, it's someone else who underestimated the Byrds and ends up being killed by Chekov's shotgun that made its appearance in the first episode, in the hands of the one it makes the most perfect sense would have used it to kill someone.

The bad guys got away with it. They got away with everything. Even that last murder, they will get away with. He's gonna get cremated in their furnace like Wendy's brother was, except this time they'll get rid of the evidence, they will clean the furnace just to be sure, then they will be on their way to Chicago to start their new life..

Shit at this point they might has well rob liquor stores on the way for the fun of it, because they'll get away with that too.

It's a brilliant ending and it's ballsy as all fucks. Very few shows would dare do something like that. Killing Ruth alone is something that 99% of shows wouldn't do.

... lmao you had to leave the thread after getting mocked by everyone then you come back pages later and your only cope is to make up shit about how said i hoped they review the batman?

if someone posted a video of the bald cunt and neckbeard sucking each others dicks in this thread, your posts would still be the faggiest shit in it by a mile.

They're going to watch The Bantam, a harrowing drama about an up-and-coming boxer in the same vein of Whiplash.
No, it'll be The Batman, a light comedy about the adventures of an aristocratic British army officer and his personal servant, set during the Boer war.
