Personally, I’d like to see them do an episode dedicated to DS9. It would be interesting to compare and contrast it with the current NuTrek dreck, since they both go for a darker and edgier take on the universe, but only the former gets it right.
Give them a break and let them discuss Star Trek: TAS

I don't think Mike is much of a DS9 appreciator, which I will never forgive him for.

Listening to the latest Star Trek episode makes me remember how much of modern popular culture LARPs as science-y and intelligent, while it's entirely composed of liberal art human failures who have never thought of even cared to invest in learning how things like the military and space flight work.
In a lot of ways the larp makes it worse because when criticized they'll flip flop between condescending and telling you it's a show about space wizards.

He did, in the Plinkett review of Picard, compare it favorably to that show by saying it “[mixed] it up…in an intelligent way” if that counts for anything. He also included Sisko along with the other captains in his eulogy at the end as characters who embodied Star Trek’s ideals.

Patreon Update:

Hey everyone! We just shot a Half in the Bag that will most likely be split into two parts. It's a mid-year catch-up video with one part devoted to TV shows and the other to movies. Amongst other things, we saw The Northman! We were also planning to shoot a Best of the Worst spotlight episode this week but had to postpone it. That will still most likely be the next video we shoot though. Should be a good one!

oh wait, what's that

Amongst other things, we saw The Northman!
oh my!!

I hope they cover The Northman I'm gonna be pissed if they don't.
you call yourself not a retard but really think they'll review something that isn't some blockbuster? most of their half in the bag shit for a long time is either blockbusters or trash films, The Northman doesn't fit in either category so it won't be reviewed because they can't spend 50 minutes going "this is good"
So yeah, them reviewing Northman, even if just under a "Mike And Jay Talk About" for 20 minutes is entirely on brand and the kind of shit they'd do.

as i said

tl:dr you are a retard kys

Nigga all I asked is that they cover it, nothing else. He's the retard who said they wouldn't talk about it.
That was pretty dumb assuming the guys who interviewed Len Kabisinki and Samurai Cop wouldn't talk about a non-blockbuster.

I'll laugh if they hated it.
Jay will love it, Rich will find it boring and pretentious, Mike will vote for the latest Adam Sandler picture.

.... nigga i dont watch their shit because i need validation for my opinions, i want to know what they think about it. holy shit this thread attracts faggots.

They've always reviewed an eclectic mix, which basically boils down to 'Here's what we felt like watching, and what we felt we had to'.

And yeah I'm sure Jay will love it, but afa Rich and Mike and I don't know. There's like 90% chance that either Rich or Mike says something like 'This is how [that star wars movie] should have ended' or something along those lines, and I really don't know where either of them will react to it. I wouldn't be surprised if Rich loved it because it felt visceral and shit, and Mike hated it because he felt it was too long, or vice-versa.

Jay comments on Marvel’s plans to create a CGI puppet of Stan Lee.

In his defense, we’ve had people act like that in the thread before.

There are always snotty burnouts who can't stand the idea of being entertained by something liking things is for normies and label it as 'parasocial validation of opinions' or some shit.

Frankly, RLM have often found something they like about terrible movies and shows in the past, so that I'm surprised Picard affected Mike and Rich this strongly.

it’s harder when it involves something you really care about and made to be almost the exact opposite.
