I'm in a bubble, have other people been loudly talking about the Bruce Willis situation? It is interesting timing that he finally came out and acknowledged he has something going on. Maybe the guys were the tipping point, like a very very small amount. I also find it funny they are calling it "aphasia" as if it is its own disease. It's a symptom, not a lone disorder. If he had a stroke I think we'd notice other tells. It's definitely the beginning of something like FTD. Aphasia is caused by underlying neurodegenerative disease, it's only going to get worse. They know more then they are letting on. Glad he decided he had enough though, the clips of him saying nothing but "yeah" were just bad.

Re RLM politics: I noticed under their twitter they have favorited a recent tweet by Maurice Lamarche where he uses #toxicmasculinity. Idk make of that what you will. It has always been obvious to me that the guys aren't hard right, but probably aren't hard left either, save for Jack and Josh. They don't care if gay people get married or that trans people exist but they probably don't aren't so woke that they agree with not using the word tard anymore.

#toxicmasculinity was trending a while in regards to Will Smith slapping/attacking/whatever Chris Rock. It may have been related to that.

They still say "fag" they just bleep it out in an intentionally obnoxious way.

Poor Maurice LaMarche....

Pre-collapse Kevin Smith described in detail what Willis was like to work with on two movies, and the guy came across ultimately as lonely and isolated, doing films for a social life.

If he was legitimately losing his mind, he wouldn't have had anyone to point it out to him, or question his declining behaviour on set. Smith was in awe of the way Willis confidently dismissed the suits on the Die Hard shoot, so if that behaviour became less focused and more belligerent, it's easy to see how it could be interpreted as Bruce becoming an asshole.
I'd like to hear from someone other than Smith about what a bear Willis was to work with, because it sounds to me like Smith is a shitty director in general but even shittier when he's out of his low-budget weed element and trying to make a real movie with real actors. The fat faggot turned down a chance to direct The Green Hornet because he was scared he couldn't hack it. That sounds like the kind of timid pussy who needs a Hollywood bigshot like Willis taking charge on set otherwise shit won't get done.

Fuck you, nigga.

There were a good 5-6 years in the 90s where Seagal was definitely an A-Lister. Everyone, and I mean everyone went to see that shit, or rented it:

Yeah yeah millenial faggots only know him as ridiculous fat man who can't act or throw a punch, but that dude was the shit.

His career reached it's apex with his role in this:

It blew everyone's mind. Sadly he flew too close to the sun and he'd never be able to recreate his explosive acting in the future. In a way, that's when his career started to crash. It's like he gave it all he had and just couldn't find a way to refuel. Dude was on fucking fire.
Seagal's first 5 movies (Above the Law to Under Siege) are indeed fucking classics (Out for Justice is my favorite) and while Executive Decision is a great flick, its definitely not a "Seagal flick". The moment he gets killed off in the first 20 minutes is the moment his chances to make it as a big name in hollywood died.

All of his theatrical releases after Executive Decision were crap and then came the straight to video days. His career peaked in '92 and its been nothing but downhill from there.

Obviously, everyone is talking about the slap but I can't help but think Jay's referring to Max Landis as well.
Shows how sheltered and disconnected he is as well. Regarding someone as a psychopath merely for using violence is complete delusion. I've attacked people for no reason. Will Smith, while a cuck, is not a psychopath.

Yeah I don't consider Smith a reliable source. Give me someone better.

I don't know my dad consider him a big action star in the day.

I think all of his initial theatrical films are worth a watch. He turned into a hippie up his own ass with On Deadly Ground, but it's still a fun movie with good fight scenes and Michael Caine as a hammy sneering villain. Under Siege 2 was pretty meh, but it had its moments. Fire Down Below is where he started becoming a chubby punchline imo, with all the country singing and hillbilly bad guys like it was an episode of Walker: Texas Ranger.

The Glimmer Man is both an underrated Seagal movie and the one where you can see him turning into a cow. Damon Wayans had the best fight scene in the movie, and the final fight is just close-ups of Seagal and his opponent taking turns punching and blocking at the camera like they weren't even in the same scene together.

GM fight scenes (Wayans fight scene at 3:10)

Most of the "Willis is an asshole" stuff I heard actually came after he refused to do his regular cameo in Expendables 3 unless they paid him some huge amount of money for it. But that would have been in like 2014 I guess. Maybe he really was just going batty and people were just butthurt he was wanting as much money as possible...

I wouldn't consider Smith a reliable source either since I recall hearing he absolutely would lose his shit on people if they adlibbed in any way. I could easily see Willis just being like "fuck you, I say it my way" and that crybaby bitch holding a grudge over it.
