I talked about them here on this thread before, but I keep running into weirdos copying Doug Walker and AVGN to this day. But Jason Brant is the only red letter media clone I watch regularly. They are successful. They make new videos weekly to meet the demand. The red letter media format seems to be easier to copy. I don't get why there are so few copycats. Are RLM audiences older and slightly less autistic?

Looks like Plinkett is going to need to do a mistake video for the mistake video. Stupid hack fraud.

I would sub to the patreon if they did a Star Trek episode by episode podcast, but thats probably their oh shit button for when numbers are falling.

It'd also be 175+ episodes with little to no contribution from Jay ... unless the gimmick is they force him to watch the whole series and get his reaction.

I enjoy this autism, especially the dirty carpet, because only a real fan would be this obsessed over things. But they're the bad guys these days, just accept shaved head black woman is the best captain and fat people would exist in this world.

Im just happy that they mostly are focusing on things they actually like instead of reviewing every film that gets released. Im tired seeing madam web being posted everywhere, we all know marvel bad. Seeing Mike and Rich sperg about Star Trek would be great though.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind being the nimble slave child behind the camera or editing.

If you remember the Sony email hack, it was revealed awhile back Amy Pascal has a dream about a heavily woman-centric movie spinning off from the spider-man characters they had the rights to.

IIRC it was originally planned to be Silver Sable, it now seems obvious they went with Madame Web instead.
Silver sable honestly has a lot of potential to be good. I always liked her character. Current year makes that borderline impossible though.

Is there any good copycats of the best of the worst format? Its unironically great to watch and take a nap to.

Actually that would be a good hook to make it distinct. 2 old fans and a complete newb discussing it where the newbie expresses his honest reaction (for good or ill).

That would require someone to have all of the following:
1) an interest in horrible b-movies, while understanding what makes a movie so bad it’s good (uncommon)
2) a group of friends with similar interest in which to discuss (already impossible)
3) the charisma between all of them to carry such conversation (doesn’t even exist across everyone one on BotW)
4) the capability in an easy-to-watch format
Let’s face it: RLM’s a unicorn.

You just described So Bad It's Good.
