I'd like to see them do a crossover with the Cinema Snob. Brad lives in Chicago which isn't too far from them. I get the feeling that either Brad and Jay would instantly get along or just instantly hate each other.
I like Red Letter Media but I feel like I can't really enjoy their reviews If I haven't seen the movie in question yet. Does anyone else feel this way?
It depends on if the movie intrigues me or not. When they actually rave and talk about a movie so passionately it makes me want to go see it. If it's shit like a Plinkett review though you don't tend to need to see it as Harry covers it in a lot of detail.
The latest review I thought would be intolerable but even as somebody who isn’t a Star Trek nerd it is great to hear passionate content creators talk about their ideas. The best part of the ghost busters review was the Plinkett edits be side as somebody who writes and directs movies, Mike understands what makes something compelling.
Nah, MauLer’s great. I agree he can definitely be more concise and to the point but acting like he has nothing to offer with his videos makes me think you haven’t seen anything beyond his Unbridled Rage videos.
I don’t even really get what you mean by not being worth the time of “free-thinking critics” when he manages to make people who think TLJ wasn’t bad despite its massively negative reception insanely annoyed. It just kinda sounds like you dislike him because he booty blasted someone you like.
I think it's absolutely gay the most politically divisive film right now is a fucking Star Wars sequel. "If you hate TLJ you're a toxic manbro misogynistic fanboy." "If you like TLJ you're a soy-smiling libtard Disney-shill cuck". Both sides of this dipshit "debate" need to shut the fuck up already.
Ditto, I don't have any problem with anyone liking the film as I know a couple of folks who liked it because it is Star Wars, and that is fine as what you will hate will be what someone else loves. I have a problem with the protection brigade built around this along with other films like Ghostbusters 2016 where they use desparate and morally bankrupt journalists to form a shield against any criticism against anything from the quality of the films, the new characters, or the direction of the series.
All I ask for is that the tapeworm media be shat out of the series I like, that is all I ask.
