Honestly, I think Bruce Willis just does it because that's all he's known for 30+ years. He's consistently taken multiple roles every year since like 1986 even while he still had the Moonlighting gig, and he's never been above taking lower end work like tv and voice roles even after he hit it big.

Why it's suddenly exclusively garbage is because he is a notorious prick to work with, and he had a number of low earning/box office bombs in the early/mid 2010's and his career trajectory kept sliding down. He's in a position where he's past his prime and a prick so Hollywood doesn't want him, but he's still a big enough name that he can get roles in low rent trash. And he's aware it's low rent trash so that's why he puts so little effort.

He's basically riding his career until the wheels fall off. You could say his career is Dying Hard, even.

“While filming Glass [in 2019], staffers worked around him by cutting and editing and having him overdub lines because he struggled to remember and/or deliver them,” an insider reveals. “In most scenes on Glasshe’s hooded, and they used stand-in and body doubles to replace him. On set, he wouldn’t smile and was always chaperoned by an assistant to guide him while walking.”
Definetly makes the new episode harder to watch, at least they didnt riff on Willis too much, it was more about production and producers, but some jokes no longer feel right. Not blaming the guys, I guess they didnt know, I only discovered about this because someone posted about it in the comments. And gets really sad when you really start to think about it: is he being exploited by family and producers, or maybe he wishes to leave as much money as he can to take care of his family when he is no longer able to work, maybe he really loves acting and wants to keep doing it until his mind is gone. Dementia is a bitch. And its somewhat interesting that it seems that deaf people have a higher chance of developing early onset dementia. He had an accident years ago and now its destroying his life.

Sad if true, and would explain why he's always sitting around so much in those movies. Could also be MS.

Lol, that elitist cunt Jay Bugman is just digging the hole deeper, isn't he? Remember, none of the movies you liked in your youth are any good, you're just high on nostalgia and need someone like Jay to tell you what you're allowed to enjoy.

Ah, yes. I too always expect squeaky clean, family-friendly humor from the guys who gave us Rapebot 5000.

The World Health Organization should really classify being a redditor as a mental disorder.

Did Jay fuck your mom or something cause holy shit calm down

The first time I heard Willis speak in those clips I said "oh shit he has dementia". If you have a family member going through it, you can spot it a mile away. To be fair, most people don't see those signs or symptoms, they just think "old dude" or "drunk" or "he's not even trying", so I couldn't really blame them for not noticing, but it made this one kind of uncomfortable to watch. There is a good chance he's burning through these junkass movies to build a nestegg for his kids knowing he won't be able to work (or really even take care of himself) before long, which makes this more sad than anything else. But it makes this one feel a little mean and exploitative, even if unwittingly. I wish they'd go through the Travolta and Seagal ones, those are much more fertile ground for mockery, since those are just straight-up Lazy Old Guy shitfests.

Are you alright mate?

I think making jokes that dvd rentals are not as popular as streaming services is hardly elitist.

If anything, Streaming is the normie way of watching shit now. Anyone who rents a specific dvd/bluray and watches it is 10x more involved that a dude who pays less than a delivery pizza a month to watch random shit.

Given the reaction on reddit, the 10-minute skit was totally worth it. I giggled at the skit anyway, but the reaction only makes it funnier.

Also, in general, I just enjoyed the review.

This just makes the guy using his image to sell movies seem even scummier.

While the covid stuff is funny, it makes me wonder if they personally flip-flopped on the pandemic or something. Not that long ago they did that covid tweet, unless the joke was the virus is not that deadly? I wonder if the covid and tranny stuff will make the more faggy guests they use to have on never want to come on again. If so, very based, very cool.

I hope they didn't change their opinions on covid because they saw some liberal kike like Bill Maher or Jimmy Dore talk about how dumb the whole thing is now.

Anyways, glad to see they made another funny video about a topic like Bruce Willis movies

I actually saw part of "Out of Death". The basic plot for the film is something competent filmmakers could have made at least basic entertainment out of - a woman out on a hike records crooked deputies murdering a drug dealer and must reluctantly rely on a retired law enforcer for help - and in the hands this production was in the movie feels like someone took an rejected script for a TV crime drama, like a busman's holiday type episode that has the main detective character run into a crime while on vacation, and stretched the idea out to feature length.

Like most of these recent Willis vehicles, even when he is visibly in scenes with other actors it still feels like their scenes are being shot separately.

Why do you care what opinion a movie review show has on covid?
