I was referring to how the general public view films nowadays. They place a great deal of importance on generic popcorn flicks like Black Panther and Ghostbusters, but when a well crafted, well written film comes along that fits within the quotas that they have regarding diversity in casting, they don't pay it any mind. Mainly in part to how it doesn't package itself as a cultural milestone like every other by-the-numbers summer blockbuster we've seen as of late.

I nominate Partners for the next movie night feature.

Also, I really wish RLM would do more spotlight episodes like this. I love seeing them talk about bad movies they genuinely love, not shitty VHS tapes they have to suffer through (although, given how funny the RLM crew is, those episodes end up being enjoyable anyway).
 
It was a definite pleasant surprise. I'm looking at the video and seeing it's over an hour long and wondering "How the fuck are they going to talk about these short pieces of shit that long?"

Did they ever do Suburban Sasquatch for movie night? I've never participated in movie night but the movie is really hard to get ahold of and I'd love to see it.
