Mike: "There's a lot of elderly abuse."
Jay: "It's not as funny as you'd expect, though."

This exchange so perfectly encapsulates what I've come to expect from and love about RLM, lol.

Had a "WTF?" Moment watching the latest BOTW when at the 51 minute mark they start calling John Rhys Davies Gimli from LOTR and I think to myself "I know him as the guy from Sliders." And then Jay say's the same thing!

He'll always be Professor Maximillian Arturo to me.

Jay has peaked you can't change my mind. He's slowly reverting back to his Amish roots like a piece of memory wire. Glad the wheel will be back. I was afraid it was going to be Culk or something at the end. Who else reviewed that robot movie because I remember it from somewhere and I'm assuming it was youtube.

Lupa from TGWTG did a review years ago. I remember her review and yeah Robit in the Family is pain. It just was made for kids. Its even worst than Pocket Ninja because I think Pocket Ninjas was trying to arty with their nonlinear edit.

Edit:

Fuck Mike, I would kill to have a job sculpting action figures, Star Trek or otherwise.

I'm warning you bastards...

I mean, I totally agree that like the Klingon makeup change, the Borg's origins (species 0) is best never explained. Though I have a buddy who will swear that Bubblegum Crisis 2040 is a great origin for the Borg. (I think he has some weird hang up on Pris.)

Ok, it's been awhile since I've checked and apparently there are several debates over the Borg origin. Some of these are less stupid, and one of them does involve the V'Gyer probe! But the latest one published as of right now and was in the large, crossover book "canon" AND key to ending THE Federation/Borg war was...
In 4527 BC, the temporally displaced Caeliar known as Sedín forcibly bonded with three Humans from the 22nd century: United Earth Starfleet Lieutenants Karl Graylock and Kiona Thayer and United Earth MACO First Sergeant Gage Pembleton in a bid to survive the destruction of the Caeliar city-ship Mantilis in the frozen antarctic wastelands of Arehaz in the Delta Quadrant. Reduced to a state of pure hunger after having murdered her Caeliar compatriots, Sedín used her catoms to possess the minds and bodies of the Humans, transforming them into the first drones. Upon the arrival of a Kindir icebreaker later that year, the newly formed Collective targeted Arehaz for assimilation.
In consequence of the final free thought of Lieutenant Graylock (vowing that he will never be a "cyborg") imprinting upon the Collective consciousness, the new collective entity referred to itself as the Borg.

It will still not be as stupid as what Picard or Discovery are going to do...
What? I don't understand, i see the words but i still don't understand what is
a Caeliar? I never heard of that species

it is a species that nobody heard of until that book. It was entirely made up from nothing. Just like THE TIMELESS CHILDRENZ

It's a conundrum for me. While I like the oddity the wheel gives, it's walking through the sewer hoping to find gold. But, when they pre-select the videos, they clearly know something about the movie might be gold (though they say they "haven't watched it") that just leads to a great upload like this one.

That still edit of Rich at 01:12, you think that was a joke edit or a mistake? Haven't seen Jay do an edit like that before.

I've always been a fan of Plinketto, they can choose a set of movies that are both "Bad good and Utterly bad" and put them in the slots and the person tries to actively hit the choose your own, it makes for a little more exciting selection process than Wheel.

The wheels great because it's an emotional rollar coaster of hoping it lands on what you want only for the tape to turn out to be a fucking nightmare or something inane and stupid looking turning out to be gold.

I mean, who really expected Surviving Edged Weapons to be that?
