WTF did people honestly expect?

Nobody is playing the game. So of course they are going to say "We need to GTA Online this game up!"

Just be happy it's goofy outfits so far and not flying trains and giant robot spiders.
 
So, I robbed the back of the Rhodes saloon for some silver earrings I needed, and when I went to dismiss one of the ladies I was robbing instead of just letting her go, Arthur instead threw her ass through a window and she died.

Turns out I didn't have to rob her anyways because there was some silver earrings on the dresser.

Oops.

For anyone playing singleplayer on PC, there is a mod that mitigates the cold weather bug by removing the lines of dialogue. It's a fix that is comparable to removing a limb for cancer treatment, but it's better than what Rockstar has done so far (i.e., absolutely nothing).

It requires Lenny's Mod Loader and the RDR2 Script Hook to work. Obviously, don't have these in your game folder if you want to play Red Dead Online.

If Rockstar actually does their job and fixes this in their next update (lol), then there will be no more need for this mod (though I am not sure if it is safe to disable it mid-playthrough).

I doubt they have anyone that could fix it. Every time they try to fix something be it online or single player for some bizarre reason they fuck up the other. Even if they do manage to fix the issue, they may very well introduce more problems in the same environment - single player or online - they were trying to fix. I don't know who the fuck they have working on this shit right now but they are not the same people who ironed shit out in the campaign for launch.

Haven't they irreversibly fucked parts of their game after fixing an SP exploit that let people get to New Austin ahead of time? Don't expect this to get fixed at all.

I might be remembering this wrong, but I think I heard somewhere that Rockstar's b-team is working on RDR2 stuff, and that their main division is working on something else (probably GTA V Online stuff) and that's why every patch keeps on breaking shit.

Late, but some concept art got released a while back. Apparently, gators were originally planned to be able to directly attack your horse, and Rains Fall was originally named Rains Come.

Really glad they changed that, especially the latter, because well, you know.

The update is fucking nothing. Nothing but broken shit they'll never fix.

I'm blaming this on diversity hires. The shit they designed which are wacky uwu tier shit and actual lack of work ethic are my reasons why. At least the present pass designs aren't horrifyingly obnoxious, save for the Fircroft hat which is just your typical western hat but with a raccoon tail attached to it like they attach to the antennas of cars. Man, fuck Rockstar and fuck TakeTwo.
