"Aren't you cold Arthur?"

"You'll freeze like that!"

"Don't you have anything warmer to wear?"

"You'll catch your death dressed like that!"

I really wish we could shoot gang members at this point.

I really do.
Even Micah gives you shit for not wearing warm clothes.

They still haven't patched that shit out? How incompetent are these guys?

Forget Micah, even Strauss and Swanson bitch to you about it. At this point, someone should check if Kieran has a line for it while he's still tied to the tree.

I still have 2 winchesters because Micah gave me one after I already took the one in the Rhodes gunsmith’s sex dungeon. Annoys the shit out of me.

Anybody else happen to play Red Dead Revolver way back when? Grew up with that one and always sort of hoped that'd see a bit of a rebirth with the Redemption series popularity. Western revenge story meets voodoo and native american magic.

All the shit Bunny Tracks mentioned is even worse on PC. I've run into constant, weird FPS drops when looking at certain directions in Valentine/Blackwater/etc, performance and audio issues after fast traveling from camp, John's family occasionally just disappearing from Beecher's Hope, graphical issues out the ass and infinite loading screens when restarting from checkpoint in missions. I still get the bug where you can no longer milk the cow at Beecher's Hope, and I first got that bug when I first played it on PS4 two years ago. It makes me laugh when people circlejerk in RDR2 videos about how Rockstar can put out a polished game while CDPR can't when RDR2 is quite possibly the buggiest game Rockstar has ever released and it seems to get buggier every patch. None of this would be a problem if Rockstar separated the single player into its own program and rolled it back to the least buggy version, especially considering they don't seem to want to add any of the cool shit from Online (like the Navy Revolver or ponchos) into the single player.

"cool down with that antisemitism" - Strauss Zelnick, probably

I could never get into the original RDR, but I enjoyed the hell out of Gun. Close enough for you?

There’s a glitch where your clothes look purple when you look in a mirror. It’s a small thing but it’s fucking annoying.

When you're really low on health in RDO and you eat like five cans of beans.

Apparently the Bounty Hunter "expansion" requires you to buy a second bounty hunting license. LMFAO Red Dead Online is a joke.

Rockstar has gone full-on Capcom levels of greed, to be honest. The Outlaw Pass 5 is a total cash grab.

Try switching your API from Vulkan to DX12 or vice versa. Also, update your video card drivers. That's a rendering glitch you should never see.

I'm down with it when a title gets straight to the point like 'Gun'.
It was a fun PS2 era game. Basically a prototype for Red Dead Redemption, but obviously by a completely different company. Very unambitious and straightforward compared to RDR or that era's GTA games, and there's even a PC port you should have no issues getting to run. Its a pretty quick, simple game with more emphasis on story than anything truly free-roam, but there's still plenty of side quests and unlike RDR, the world space is fairly small so travel's very quick.

So wanted to play RDR2 but the whole "aren't you cold?" thing started bugging me really quick.

Thinking about it...where would this dialogue even fit? Does it actually get cold enough at any of the gang hideouts where this dialogue would fit? It's been a while since I played but Horseshoe Overlook and Beaver Hollow are pretty temperate aren't they?

Yes, in the very first chapter the gang's main camp is in the snowy mountains, so it would make sense for them to have dialogue commenting on how cold you, and things in general are.

Still doesn't excuse how they think you're cold all the time now, though.

It doesn't make sense because you are unable to change clothes in Chapter 1. You literally can't wear something where they will comment on you being cold.

Yeah I dont count Chapter 1 because you cant actually change clothes to get that dialogue.

Don't know about Beaver Hollow, but Valentine drops down into the mid 40's a whole lot. Definitely not the place to wear summer clothing.

So since Red Dead Online is now offered as a stand alone game...should Rockstar just take it out of Red Dead Redemption 2 and revert the game back to the original (good) graphical quality from before Online launched and remove all the fucking bugs that piece of shit caused?

Or should I just get a used copy of the disk and play on 1.00 version?

Online didn't cause it. Rockstar was still patching shit for single player. As far as I know single player plays like GTAV's in that it's a separate beast with different graphics qualities and AI behavior.

Rockstar is just shit at maintaining or fixing their games. They tried fixing an exploit in single player that let you get to New Austin early so you could unlock that final costume thingy by doing all the challenges without having to wait for Epilogue. Introduced a bunch of other problems in the process, this was before Online released. Everything else worked fine, very little problems, but trying to fix that one exploit - that harmed no one, mind - opened a floodgate where they kept making shit worse each time and trying to fix the last thing they broke. Their code is like Jenga or some shit.
