After just completing the game I was pleasantly suprised by all the game unexpected turns in the game.

End game spoilers:
I think one thing that some people don't get is it's not a wish fulfilment kind of progression like you see in some other games, things just get more and more desperate for Arthur but it's interesting plot-wise and fits in with the theme of the game, I'm really glad there wasn't for example a quest where Arthur was suddenly cured of TB.

On a random note I thought it was a nice touch how the game both started and ended in the snowy mountains.
I mean, Dunk prefers arcady games anyway. There's a reason why his 4/5s and 5/5s usually go to stuff that put things like breakneck action or fastpaced platforming at the forefront, like Cuphead, GOW4 and Sonic Mania, while slower paced shit like RDR2, Yakuza 0, and Shadow of the Colossus get 3/5s, they're not his types of games. Probably why he preferred GTA5, that was styled to be wacky bullshit, a nice batshit loveletter to the PS2 trilogy in a thematic sense, whereas RDR2 is taking the building blocks of an already depressing and somewhat disturbing and haunting PS3 game with a sense of humor blacker than coal and trying its damnedest to one up it

On a funnier note, I predict this'll be Dan Houser's reaction when people begin to dedicate entire RDRO posses to Ram Ranch

I find it amusing how the further the game goes, the less inclined you are to act like a well-behaved person. You try to be courteous and stop for callers-out but to find them ready to mug you. You go into self defense and shoot the bastard only for a witness to see what was to them a murder.

Then the horsey police are on you. You get away, but with a big bounty you're going to have to pay when you return to the area.

I recommend reading the journal every now and then, it acts as a way to add more context to Arthur's actions.

I just beat this game and... Jesus Fuck Graham Cracker Crust this is a huge, huge map. Not to mention the vertical buildup into the skybox. Never did I think we'd actually have Armadillo included. Or I forgot.

Endless Summer after the Epilogue is finished. Endless summer, hmmmm. To be quite frank, this makes the events in RDR1 even more sad, especially with its own epilogue.

I came across a Ku Klux Klan meeting last night. Now, being from a heavy mixed country, I couldn't just sit around hearing this supremist Rhetoric passing through my ears without consequence, so I open fired.

But it was weird. One robed punk decided to follow me on foot, into town! I dunno, was that a thing, to casually enter town by yourself in a Klan robe? But the punk persisted, so I killed him in front of many witnesses. I have never seen so much ape shit over shooting a robed Klan member. Now that's another $150 bounty for me to scrounge and get...

I just saw video game titties in RDR2. Rockstar always has to pander to thirsty breeders, it seems.

Ahem, but seriously, I am having an awesome time so far with this game.

I just watched them light themselves on fire attempting to burn a cross. It was some funny shit.

Having real trouble with hunting. It seems like such a pain in the ass to find 3 stars, and I can't figure out a way to get legendary animals to spawn.
Are you studying the animals? Use binoculars to do so from afar and then you can use them to check the quality. Also info will tell you what weapon to use for a clean kill -- which means aiming for the head usually.

As for Legendary Animals, if you went hunting with Hosea he should have given you a map that unlocks Legendary Animals. When you enter their territory an alert will show and you need to activate Eagle Eye, not Dead Eye, to find the remnants - dung, fur, tree rubbing - of the beast which is usually golden specks in Eagle Eye. Do this two or three times until Arthur says it's close. Be careful when hunting Legendary Predators.

I named my first horse invincible (because im a huge faggot for arthas) and i accidentally killed him the exact same way invincible died in warcraft canon.

Finding a three star moose is a fucking pain. Finding a regular moose is also a bitch.

"Niggers aren't slobbering neanderthals, therefore the game is PC Cucked" - Man who cleatly doesn't remember the part where John said Dutch taught him to read in RDR1

This game has some issues. It's overall a good experience, but the game kicked me in the balls every now and then. The most common problem is that the same button you use to aim your gun is also the same button you use to talk to people. I have screwed up so many interactions by pressing L2 to talk to someone, only to point my gun at them. Best case scenario, the person I just saved from being kidnapped runs away. Worst case scenario, I raise the bounty on my head because I accidentally drew my gun on a lawman when I wanted to surrender.

While there were other issues, that one was the worst one of all.

Never thought I get attached to and feel sad about a horse in a bloody video game.
"Ooookay, boy?"
"That's my boy."
"Boy..."

"My Horse" was truly the best character in RDR2. Honestly, though, the way Arthur talked to the horses always brought a smile to my face.
I'm glad Rockstar added a small little scene where Arthur stays behind for a minute and sees his horse off as it dies. That was unironically the saddest moment in all of RDR2 for me. Ah... how I'll miss Boris's random shits in the middle of town streets.

Apparently there are invisible snipers in New Austin. God's Snipers since the bullets seem to be coming from the fucking sky. As if randomly spawning law men weren't bad enough... this actually makes Herbalist Challenge 9 outright impossible. Along with Survivalist 10 it would seem.

Such a dumbass design... Legend of the East, my ass.

They go away when you go further into post-chapter 6 missions, NA was clearly just meant as a cute little throwback/bonusfor when you got through Chapter 6, similar to the green tunic in BOTW or RPD Leon in RE4
