I honestly don't know why the hell you'd want to play RDR2 on the switch. I can't imagine the world would be anywhere near as captivating without those necessary Horse Ball State graphics.
Being real here, I've rarely seen any Switch user actually play RDR2 on said console

The original version on RDR2's DLSS gave me issues like weird dark outline seen everytime I move camera too quickly
So I just replaced nvngx_dlss.dll to the latest version 3,5,5,0 and everything looks way better now
I guess Rockstar is too lazy to do simple drag and drop
I'm not surprised that a giant company like R* is unprofessional and lazy

It's October; as of now, I cannot buy the Halloween Battle Pass yet.

Old Man Jones can make you honorable/dishonorable for three Gold Bars. What does honor bring you in RDO?

As far as I remember your honor changes what missions you get during the Online story line, forget the name. You also get the better material gathering missions for Trader.

Not sure if there's anything more besides that

What does that give you? A couple extra missions? Wow.
That's what I remember, but like I said I only played on release. I have no idea if it effects roles or anything but I figure since you play it fairly regularly you'd notice that more than those early story missions that were abandoned.

I don't even remember if the missions themselves were *different* or just the flavor around them was different.

Red Dead Redemption 1 is now playable at 60 FPS, but only on PS5:

Just finished one of the Moonshiners' story missions involving Maggie's nephew, Lem. Oh my God, that mission pissed me off to no end. The revenue agents have Springfield rifles and revolvers that can insta kill you without warning. Be careful running around for cover, you could run into a spawn area where a set of agents would spawn AROUND YOU.

Add insult to injury, the mission damn near softlocked on me. One remaining enemy had not spawned in to progress; I had to blow up the wagon for Lem to leave the wagon into a building to trigger the last spawn.

As an aside, there's free candies in RDO for a time being.

New Halloween PvPvE event in Red Dead Online titled Dead of Night. 3x payouts, four teams of two pitted against each other and "the dead." Masks pop up around the map which grants you more health, higher jump height, four tomahawks and a machete.

Problem: machete does not work from my experience. Now, I'm 15 tiers into the Halloween battle pass. I save up enough gold, I'll consider buying the premium pass.

I finished a month's worth of consecutive challenges. I found myself playing RDO every day JUST to complete daily challenges. I'm taking a break tonight after a long day.

The Dead of Night event seems to be a good way to farm Gold. I played five games and made 3 Gold, more or less. Could help with the battle pass.

I suppose it's how different but familiar RDO is thanks to its Wild West setting. I'm a sucker for old time settings, obviously. Roleplaying as one of my favorite actresses from a simpler time provides a sense of escapism for me to craft my own experiences. That's not to say it doesn't have its annoyances with bugs, griefing, and creator abandonment. Don't even get me started with its inconsistency on portraying realism in gameplay.

It's a game where I could play in short bursts with a sense of progression through roles and its economy. I don't need to worry about how its meta would change over time. I can pick up where I left off without FOMO or being lost in its story because I haven't played in a while. It's certainly a love hate relationship that I have not felt since Overwatch.
