The closest I ever came to loving a mouse was a wireless Logitech that came with two lithium batteries (I forget which model it was). The charger was also the signal receiver, swapping the battery took like 3 seconds, it was perfect. Only problem was after a year or two the fucking left mouse button wore down and would start double clicking instead of single clicking. This started off intermittent but eventually it was impossible to single click.

I did everything short of making some kind of Faustian bargain to keep that mouse working but in the end gave up and just bought a wireless Microsoft mouse that worked fine. Eventually I got tired of replacing batteries and just bought a wired Logitech. It works fine, but I do miss that old one with the lithium batteries

My shitty Razer Mamba mouse did that after like 7 months of relatively light usage. Razer is a garbage brand.
