The last couple Ray vids Nick has done have been pretty funny. How has this imbecile not gotten more attention?
He used to act the same way on horse racing message boards 20 years ago trying to sell his gambling "system" and freaking out whenever challenged. He deleted all that. Then he was a dating expert, then a chess expert (I think the last one he actually does know how to do, though I don't know fuckall about chess), then a financial expert. He's got similarities with many of our "experts" here---the financial expert who doesn't work and is a step above being homeless, the dating expert who cuts his own hair blindfolded, etc. All in his own mind.

I guess for a lolcow he's pretty run of the mill though.

Roy, without pausing his chess playing, is trying to sell his old horse gambling ebook that he himself says is outdated and not very useful anymore

Some guy on reddit told him to "Get help" on his facebook group and he messaged him this:

Apparently he tried suing Google for 10 billion dollars. If you google Gordon Roy Parker you'll find a bunch of lawsuits this dude has been involved in. I've been following him for about a year on YouTube knowing he was a nutjob, but he might provide some laughs if pressed.

This thread has some fun info on Gay Rordon:

One post I think sums everything up well:
Ray Gordon is a pathological liar and/or schizophrenic and/or super delusional

1. He claims he started the alt right by accident

2. He claims he started PUA (pickup artistry) and MGTOW, and that people stole credit from him

3. He claims Carlsen is 2850 and not 3400 because they play too many normal openings where you have to memorize 350 tunnels for each one of, and recommends you instead to play b4/b5 as soon as possible

4. He claims he can hypnotize women to the point of sexually controlling them

5. He claims to be one of the best gymnastics coaches, or something like that

6. He has a fetish for filing lawsuits, namely ridiculous ones. lol. And for making legal threats on Twitter, which he has done with multiple now-suspended Twitter accounts.

7. He claims to have coached a school with students who barely had any chess background, for four months or so by training openings, stating that a chess coach's school lost to his (Ray's) school 9-1. Yeah right. That never happened. lol

8. He got in petty fights with various youtube channels. The last one I remember was IM Erik Kislik's QGA video where Ray Gordon (with a QGA fetish) got heated up because Kislik was showing white gets a slight advantage after 3 e4 but Ray Gordon was saying it equalizes. Ray is wrong. QGA does not comfortably equalize...And he threatened some lawsuit then later deleted all his comments

9. His advice is mostly garbage. Play only bullet and play only 1 b4/b5? Hahaha...

Didn't even realize this guy had a thread but he's been floating around the DropKiwiFarms stuff alleging there's some big conspiracy we're involved in that goes up to an Assistant US Attorney who uses us to take down anti-feminist men:

He's also shorting Cloudflare because he thinks Keffals is about to expose the whole plot or something:

Glad there's a thread about this particular blight upon the internet.

I'll provide some more details about Mr. Gordon's claims listed in the chess.com forum post reproduced above - I used to follow this cow for lulz long ago and recently saw that he was still active.

Warning: long post coming up!

1. As mentioned above, he claims he "invented" pick-up artistry and used to shill his dumb "system" in various USENET groups (mostly alt.seduction.fast but also the alt.sex.* groups). He then cut it out for a while because "the 'pickup mafia' were persecuting him".

He even tried to sue this "pickup mafia" (basically Mystery and other financially successful PUAs) but his lolsuit was so poorly drawn up no court would take it.

2. He says he "started the alt-right by accident". This is a metamorphosis of an earlier claim that he started the Tea Party, also by accident. AFAIK he has never explained how this accident happened or  what it was (except for "being in the right place at the right time"). These claims were made on his YouTube channel, but unfortunately he privated these videos (guy likes to DFE, especially if he has a frivolous court case coming up)

3. He also apparently started MGTOW but this was "stolen" from him. Claimed to have written the "MGTOW bible" (there is a book/pamphlet [it's name was "No, Ma'am"] which the MGTOW types used to call their "bible") but that was published way before the "bible" he claims he "wrote".

4. He has claimed he was "female" on multiple occasions. I don't know if he's some kind of on-and-off low effort tranny or just lies so much that it has become habit.

5. He is a master of hypnosis and can hypnotise anyone into doing anything(especially fucking him). He also advertised online BDSM "hypnosis" sessions on USENET. Apparently he was into doing findom.

6. He was a master gambler, having developed an unbeatable system for betting on the horses which netted him tons of money until the bookmakers caught up with it.

After he couldn't make money on horses any more he invented a backgammon system and raked cash in "until computers got too good".

As for where this money went and why he needed to go on welfare if he was so rich, being on welfare was his endgame (and should be everyone's) and he spent all the money on "chess materials".

He also claims to have 8 relatives in Silicon Valley whose substantial wealth he can draw on in an "emergency".

7. He has been claiming that he is terminally ill with an unspecified disease for the last 6 or so years, usually claiming that he has "4-5 years left to live"

8. Gordon can dish it out but not take it. Any questioning of his claims or disbelief is met with accusations of "bullying", threats to beat up the critic or sue him.

He has a copypasta which he uses when he loses his temper in which he claims that he has over 400 "devoted fans" who are presently ordered to "hold off" but will absolutely avenge his honour on whenever he is feuding with once he dies, especially if he is "driven to suicide" by this person's criticism.

This low-tier version of the US Marine Copypasta has caused him to lose several Twitter accounts.

9. He is a master of the frivolous lawsuit and will try to go to court over anything. This is despite him knowing even less law than your average Sovereign Citizen.

Obviously all his suits are filed pro se in forma pauperis.

Two of his feats are his Google lawsuit (dismissed) and his Microsoft/Yahoo lawsuit (Most of his claims against Microsoft (and all of the Yahoo ones) were thrown out immediately and Microsoft settled the remainder. Gordon claims this as an "unequivocal" victory and epic own of "the haters", but refuses to divulge what the settlement was, citing "confidentiality".

Other legal feats I know of was an attempt by him(US citizen) to sue either lichess(French organisation) or chess.com(US company) under Australian law. This didn't get past the clerk of the court because there was no locus standi (Also, he didn't want to appear in person and didn't appoint a lawyer).

He has this "domino theory" of law which he has articulated many times. In short: Gordon wins mega-settlement against someone like Elon Musk of Twitter. This somehow compels Musk to sue all the Twitter users who dared to criticise Gordon to recoup his(Musk's) loss, so Gordon gets "avenged". (That Musk can just eat the loss is heresy to Gordon).

10. The chess shit. Gordon Ray Parker claims to have "solved" chess with the help of Stockfish (a powerful chess engine).

In short, he claims he has an infallible way of forcing a win as black, provided one memorises a few openings up to the 20th move (this means being able to respond to all possible moves by the opponent in the same way as a chess engine would).

Of course this is beyond human memory, so apparently he truncates this to the "best" openings for white. Any "suboptimal" moves should just be mirrored. I don't know what the infallible advice to being put in check is.

It is worth noting that the lead developer of the Stockfish engine has disavowed Parker's claims, saying that it is impossible to "solve" chess by relying on Stockfish as Stockfish itself is not capable of solving chess.

The sad thing is that chess is the only thing that Ray has tangible achievements in. (About 25 years ago, at the age of 24, he had a USCF speed chess Elo of 2200 and a decent classical rating too. Because USCF chess ratings have a "floor" (they don't degrade to zero if you don't play) he is still rated at 1900.

Having attained 2000+ gives him the title of "Expert" in the USCF. He has abused this in the past by referring to himself as "Ray Gordon, Chess Expert" and threatening to sue people who disagree.

This man is the bane of both the lichess and the chess.com forums due to his incessant sockpuppetry and shameless self promotion. I think he has been banned off chesscom, and know he is muted on lichess (he's allowed to play but not to write text, either during games or in the forums).

Of course, he just evades this by making more accounts to post with and not play. Unfortunately for him he is such a tard that they get found out quickly and banned. His present lichess forum account is "roundmoundofrebound", preceded by "roundmoundofunsound".

He almost exclusively plays bullet chess (matches with <3min allowed per player, formal definition here) in which he has accumulated a high rating (highest lichess Elo 2200). His rating for blitz (longer, but still short, matches) is less impressive at about 1600 and he does not play classical chess.

This made his announcement some months ago that he was entering a major open in-person tournament to both get grandmaster status and win the world title by beating everyone with his infallible system more astonishing (proficiency at speed chess does not correlate well with that at classical chess).

Unfortunately he chickened out of this tournament because he "feared for his safety".

From this man's conduct and demeanour I am convinced that he is suffering from a long-untreated thought disorder, probably paranoid schizophrenia or bipolar mood disorder.
