wtf that bathroom is disgusting. That doesn't even look like fresh piss, it looks like nobody's cleaned that bathroom in weeks. Look at the fucking scum buildup in the sink. At least have enough self-respect to take a scrub brush to a few surfaces before you photograph your watersports session you pervert.
 
I’ve not followed any of this Pitchford stuff so I’m coming in sorta new. But Gearbox?

What happened on Colonial Marines is what’s wrong with the industry. They posted pre-rendered material and tried to pass it off as gameplay. (A few years before that, the studio making Battlefront 3 for the PS3 pulled the same bait-and-switch - all that leaked footage is pre-rendered material but Lucasarts had the good sense to smell shit when they stepped in it). And then Gearbox did some really dumb stuff where they tried to re-neg on the movie Aliens source material by bringing back the marine that died in the third film?

(As to Duke Nukem Fuckever, it’s a perfectly fine discount bin game. Anyone who bought the $89 stupid as shit collectors edition is an idiot though.)

That said: the fact that this company pulled off two of the three highest profile fuckups in gaming in the last ten years (Mass Effect Andromeda being the “winner”) and still exists is amazing. But here we are saying the guy running it has a digital cache of squirt porn and it’s sorta like advanced math where I can see this shit adding up but it’s still a ways out of my reach.

Callender says that Pitchford left a USB drive in a Dallas, Texas restaurant containing sensitive corporate documents for Gearbox and its partners including 2K Games, Sega, Sony, Microsoft, and others. Says the lawsuit: “Upon information and belief, Randy Pitchford’s USB drive also contained Randy Pitchford’s personal collection of ‘underage’ pornography.”

Callender also accuses Pitchford of holding parties in which “adult men have reportedly exposed themselves to minors, to the amusement of Randy Pitchford.”

ME:A was a Bioware game. Not sure about the Battlefront 3 thing but footage of people playing an actual beta version leaked and it looked pretty good, not sure about any pre-rendered trailers.

The best part of Colonial Marines was that it turned out that the AI was actually pretty good, its just that someone misplaced something in the code and broke everything- which a fan edit then fixed because Gearbox themselves were too dickish to go back and patch their own game. Also, art plagiarists!

Off the top of my head:

* Axton (the Commando) of BL2 is confirmed as having been married (and attracted to girls) in his backstory and in the fucking recordings you can find throughout the game establishing his background. He was "bi" due to a programming error in Borderlands 2 (every character has class-specific dialogue with each character when they help a teammate that they're supposed to use, but don't because BL2 is coded like shit, meaning Axton uses the dialogue he's supposed to use when helping the Siren). Anthony Burch then proceeded to say he was bi all along.

* Mister Torgue, arguably the funniest fucking thing in BL2, is a fucking manchild and obviously references Macho Man Randy Savage. Multiple times in the DLC he's introduced in, he comments on how hot EVERY SINGLE CONTESTANT is (including the ladies). Burch later declared he was bi all along (this makes sense) and then later, gay (this is fucking dumb).

There's purportedly a lot more if you go digging. I refuse to put more effort into this post than Anthony Burch did with his retcons.
 
The way Randy is retweeting all the people blowing smoke up his ass - saying what a wonderful guy he is - is pathetically ineffective damage control, and speaks to extreme narcissism.

I have no idea what that guy is thinking, but something tells me, this time, Randy's gonna get legally fucked up real good.

The guy is so completely unaware of himself that he'll genuinely wonder how and why he was sent to prison, if it comes to that.

$12M embezzlement is not going to be a light slap on the wrists.
