But otherkin don't actually think they're animals! Just because they do shit like eating kin-themed food or posting about how they sometimes feel like whatever they're kin with or how they're actually their kin doesn't mean they don't want to be considered human!

I don't even know what this is. I think it's some kind of weird pro-shipping post about how people who don't believe in their ship are crazy just like people who deny 9/11 but it's so unfunny and in such poor taste that I can't entirely believe it's a joke.

I thought my distaste for most fanfic was because fanfic is generally awful, results in poorly-characterized cast, actively ignores the cultural context of some works, and is poor practice for developing writers since you don't develop worldbuilding skills (unless you're writing something extensively AU).

Silly me, I should've known it was the PATRIARCHY that taught me that.

So just to put something to bed, the mayo thing must be a troll because Mayo won't dissolve in water. It needs a stronger solvent.
