As a general rule, there's an inverse relationship between "How offensive will tumblr find this joke" and "How many people are in the category that this joke is at the expense of".

Joke about killing half the population as much as you want, but heaven forbid you make fun of a rare medical condition that only pops up three times in a century.

In any other situation, putting shock collars on gays and lesbians would be mortifying to these people, but if they don't sleep with somebody who's trans, then fuck 'em.

Apparently, black people voting is the exact same thing as submitting to slavery if the person they vote for is white. I mean, it's not like black people spent centuries fighting for their right to vote for whoever they choose or anything, right?

Tumblrites need to realize that having something, being something, and identifying as something are very different things.
These same people attack anyone that mixes up on pronouns accidentally or not but don't bother to learn the difference between actually having a mental illness and pretending to because they identify with it.

Those are the robots which get returned to the factory to be fixed or scrapped. Luckily, for humans we have things like therapy and prosthetics. And if we developed robots intelligent enough to "bond" with humans, they'd sure as hell be intelligent enough to be resentful at us purposely making them faulty.

I will respect autistic robots when they will become our new overlords.
But sadly, we are still far from the day that we will have robots with functional AI that feels emotions/feelings enough to bond with humans. One day, /r9k/ will be populated by real robots that can feel but this day is not tomorrow.
