I'm sure these people are either alienated by their family or just posing for the tumblr notes. As an American I'll enjoy the day of grilled foods, beer, and tacky patterned clothing as I do what it was always about. Get drunk, enjoy my family and watch big bright lights go off in the sky.

It's funny seeing these people getting worked up for nothing instead of just enjoying the holiday and eat some hotdogs. Their protest is to make angry tumblr posts and probably being a dick to their family.
