I much prefer the days of Superwholock to the constant social discourse and death threats of Voltron and the like. Superwholocks were annoying but ultimately harmless. They were just young teen girls who wanted to sperg about their favorite shows.

Agree to disagree, I knew multiple people who got harassed to the point of death threats from Superwholock fans. Tumblr's always been a toxic waste dump, it's just more apparent nowadays.
 
Yeah, Superwholocks were awful, and they were everywhere. They were really creepy to the actors, too--can anyone even name a Steven Universe voice actor other than Nicki Minaj that one time?

That was my favorite. Mark Gatiss said on Tumblr that John and Watson weren't going to hook up in the final season. Dumb Johnlock fans said it wasn't true and kept going on with their delusions. Then threw a temper tantrum when they didn't get together at the end.
That's a special kind of stupid.

I still remember when someone found the house of one of the Supernatural actors and posted sticky notes of Tumblr urls on the tree near his property or something.

When SU and Voltron go the way of SuperWhoLock another fandom will take their place and the cycle will begin again.

Speaking of Tumblr cringe. The Sherlock BBC show creators are going to do an Answer Time on Tumblr. Half of the post is full of butthurt Johnlock fans like this:

I have to use this one person as an example because there's way too many bad salty Sherlock fans to screencap. All this time later and they still are whining about it.

Seeing how these commies have to look for "oppression" in everything and are so fearful of the world around them I'd bet that between sobbing and ducking for cover every time something goes *pop* they'll be posting about how they totally beat up that 250lb, ultra jacked, 6'8" fascist skinhead strawman, after a long winded rant about natives, black people, and Muslims for some reason, which of course everyone on the block clapped for and they were immediately given a congratulatory handy from I shit you not Albert Einstein.

I love when every 4th of July people on Tumblr start ranting about either the holiday or how they hate America. It's funnier when Europeans do it because it's like- you flood my dash for weeks with Eurovision shit but you're going to rant about seeing 4th of July for one day? LOL, whiny cunts.
They'll be even more over the top this time.
