Most people don't "give homophobic" looks to some random gay guy who is just standing around in public. Everyone's too distracted with their own lives to care about strangers on the street. Unless the guy's making a scene.

All I can picture is that they go around wearing their “Pride Parade” outfit of rhinestone covered assless chaps and a rainbow colored mesh shirt to make sure everybody knows they’re gay- if a guy, or walk around with a bitchy expression, dangerhair, and a shirt with some obscene statement on it- if a woman.

I mean, why else would people shoo their children away from a random stranger?
