So two white girls are wearing MAGA hats on a historically black university campus?

Not sure how this merits anything more than an eyeroll and moving on, but okay. My guess is that's probably what most of the people that saw them actually did.

If anyone wants context: In Splatoon 2 there is a feature which allows the user base to draw pictures/posts which will then be displayed on the walls during matches. Lately Tumblr has been doing what it does best and shitting up the place with "Twans Positivity UwU (flower emoji)". Splatoon 2 being mainly played by relatively normal people (normal compared to these snowflakes), responded that no one gives a fuck about the LGBT in a game where you play as a squid and paint shit. Of course the Splatoon 2 tumblr community is throwing a shit fit because those darn cishets are ruining "nice messages".

Another thing: For some fucking reason Nintendo thought it was a good idea to have it where you can only see the more "popular" posts in the lobby instead of everyone's posts. So basically everyone's lobby is filled to the brim with dogshit tumblr positivity posts and salt about said posts.

Normally, people play video games to escape having to think about the real world. I'm sure that the trans people that play the game are delighted to be reminded that they are not, and never will be the sex they've transitioned into. Plus, I don't think the kids who play this game even know what trans people are.

I really hope Nintendo starts deleting these posts, cuz it's really creepy to be talking about your sexuality and gender-identity on a game for kids.

And these cretins wonder why people think they're going to commit sexual assault.
 
Tumblr loves to argue that saying "I don't want to see politics" isn't an excuse because "queer positivity isnt inherently political you whitecishetnormative shitlorrrrrrd".
Except it is political because it's social activism, which is inherently political.

People should probably just start reporting these posts because they are breaking the rules. Nintendo has a policy with this stating that there can't be anything political or personal in these posts. Most of these posts do that. When I get a chance I can take a screenshot of the rules and post them.
