Because they only pretend to have these illnesses. That's the thing about these kids; they're self diagnosing, only using the parts of the illnesses they want, to get attention or to make themselves seem quirky. The fact that mental illnesses are oftentimes painful and put the person through a world of suffering doesn't matter to them.
 
Self diagnosing today is exactly like the teens pretending to be bisexual of the early 2000s

Basically, yep! Cis men are too icky. Straight girls, trans or not, are too annoying. Bi girls? Not actually real! You can only like one gender, and if it happens to be men, it's trans boy or bust, baby! That way you're not one of those annoying straight girls, and PLUS you can get that sweet MLM validity uwu! Two for the price of one!
