I think it's more impressive how in their quest to put down whitey for good they somehow ended up creating a racially diverse group of "white supremacists". They'd probably find a way to burn to death if you gave them a water bottle.

Iirc, there is a comic continuation of Korra that supposed to be coming out this summer. I think it might pick up a bit more steam but the fandom itself will never return back to its glory days on Tumblr. Overall, people sperged about it on both sides when the finale but a couple months later, everyone forgot and moved onto something else.

Now that you mentioned it, I'm afraid what kind of godawful fanart and Twitter sperging Dobson will do once the comic comes out.

Not gonna deny that colonizers did some awful things to Native Americans but acting like pre European colonizing America was some sort of peaceful paradise is hilarious. It's not like these tribes got a long fantastically and never fought with one another. Lol, pay attention in history more.

I always thought of Ao3 as the off-tumblr fanfac site. Some of those stories have more trigger warnings than Tumblr sees in a single day, not to mention the fascination with homoerotic material.
 
Wasn't AO3 endorsed by tumblr in the first place? I recall how after tumblr took off most fics stopped appearing in FF.Net and suddenly they were found more and more in AO3 bc I dunno, tumblrinas can read easier their yaoi there?

What concerns me about this is that why is it always sex with these people when it comes to children's characters.

Now I'm remembering that photo of those two prepubescent boys kissing on Tumblr from several years ago that sparked a shitstorm of controversy over people basically creaming themselves over it.

Nowadays if it were two young girls, it'd probably be celebrated and anybody who's uncomfortable would be run off the site with pitchforks and torches.

I'd like to believe it's not an intentional thing they set out to do and more the result of how they only have interest in children's media. It creates an unfortunate byproduct with their need to fetishize everything (They're projecting their fetishes on a kid's show, not seeking a kid's show out for kids). Still creepy though.
