^BTW, do you know of ladyloveandjustice/adventuresofcomicbookgirl? She was one of the more well-known/first tumblrinas to instill that whole "Sailor Moon is ultra feminist" nonsense in the first place.

I'm curious what they would say that I don't see Sailor Moon as SUPAH FEMINIST AND LQBTASDERT+ SERIES and that enlighted radical feminist interpretations are plague that began in 2012 or 2013 and fans somehow lived before that.
+ anime Tuxedo Mask is unironically my fave character

Lines from actual Sailor Moon japanese musical that sound exactly like tumblr-pandering

That sailorfailured blog author used to be a good fanartist and created nice fan webcomic.

One of the weirdest things is how these people will defend the scouts' outfits while other female characters have been complained about when their outfits are just as "impractical" or even not as bad.

Today I discovered the solarpunk tag on Tumblr, which seems to be like steampunk but with less Victorian London and more futuristic utopian ultra-green solar panel cities. Since the whole ~optimistic future utopia~ theme is quite prevalent within the aesthetic, it tends to attract the sperging of Tumblr SJWs in the hope of pursuing their idea of a futuristic utopia. This leads to people REEEEEEing about stuff like eugenics, non-inclusivity and capitalism in "utopian" cities that don't even exist, along with a lot of people that object to everybody getting along and sharing everything because ~muh cultural appropriation~ or something.

Solarpunk being unrealistic is the contrary of a problem, tho. It's supposed to be a dreamy utopia, and alternative to the post-apocalypse genre

There's this chick I check up on from time-to-time because she's the embodiment of almost every kind of Tumblr dumbassery I love to hate and I thought I'd share this beauty.

It's not even funny from their standpoint, either, it's just dumb. (And reeks of "I'M TOTALLY GAY U GUISE I'M NOT JUST A STRAIGHT PERSON LOOKING TO GET INTO THE GAY COOL KIDS' CLUB")

Yeah, it's just funny how they REEEEEEEE about social justice problems in future cities that don't exist as if they're actual relevant problems in this day and age that are happening right now. It's like the speculative fiction/noun-punk aesthetic version of the SJWs that act like Steven Universe and other kids cartoons are ULTRA SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Which one, Shabangles or the second poster?

Man, it's a good thing they're too busy arguing over their imaginary Utopian society to actually write a book about it, because those books would probably fucking suck.

I do think Sailor Moon has some stuff that's very progressive, and specially for the time it was created, but let's not kid ourselves here. It's not some holy grail or cow of feminism, it's a manga made for pre-teen and teenage girls and uses sailor suits because its original target audience was made of girls who wear fukus.

Plus I'm almost sure that this SJW is one of these snooty Tumblr feminists who shit on Crystal all the time while holding the 90's anime as some absolutely perfect masterpiece. Snerrrrrrrk.

(And Mamoru isn't a perfect character or anything, specially in these R episodes where he and Usagi broke up, but he certainly doesn't deserve all the shit he gets. I kinda feel sorry for him and wonder if the rumor about Ikuhara [aka the guy behind Utena, Penguindrum and Yuri Kuma Arashi] hating him is true and had something to do with his anime portrayal.)

Asking for proof to back up your bs is racist. If your sources get torn to shreds that easily, then they weren't that good.

Don't they have magic superpowers and shit though? You don't really need ballistic armor when you have crazy powers, i.e Dr Manhattan.
